I think you're confusing several different medications, so I'll try to clear this up for you. :-) Oxycontin contains the active ingredient Oxycodone in a time released formulation, so that is the only active ingredient in it. Regular release Oxycodone is used in some others, though, such as Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, or Roxicodne, which just contains the regular release Oxycodone by itself.
