I think its too much, I believe max only 1400mg for 1 day which is around max 500mg per 8 hourly....

Is it ok to take Piriton with Amoxicillin ## Can i take Piriton and amoxicillin together. For throat pain and runny nose. long time cold. Recently ive been sick for 4 days with tonsilitis...i cant go to my family dr as i dont have an appt so i have no choice but to take amoxicillin from phil., which expired last sept of this year. Hey, I am having a horrible bout of tonsillitis with bad ear and throat pain. My doctor initially prescribed amoxicillin 3 days ago but pain still persisted, I went back today and got 50mg prednisone daily for 5 days plus a 10 day course of cephalexin. Is 50mg too much over a 5 day period. With previous bouts I was prescribed 10 mg twice daily for 2-4 days with no side effects. I took my first dose after filling the prescription at around 2 PM and am feeling mild discomfort in my muscles and can't seem to sleep. Is this dose to heavy? Hi I have white spots in my tonsils and my throat feels cut up. I know it's tonsillitis that I have and therefore was going to ring doctors to get a prescription but my mum have me a full packet of Amoxicillin. I can't see an expiry date on packet but it does say on pharmacy sticker "ChkBy 27/06/16". Do you know what this stands for please? My daughter has just been prescribed 8ml of clindamycin palmitate 3 times a day for 7 days. She has been fighting ear infections, sinus infections and upper respiratory infections for the past 4 months. She has been on amoxicillin, Augmentin, septra and cefdinir and neither of these have worked. I took her to an ENT last week and recommended we remove her tonsils and adenoids and have ear tubes put in. She is scheduled for 3/11 however she is still running a fever off and on and has a slight cough so that is why he gave her clindamycin. Am 12 weeks pregnant & suffering from tonsilities & pharyngities, fever & body pain for last 2 days now. Information I've gathered states the following: "Adjust dosing interval: Certain penicillins may exhibit reduced gastrointestinal absorption in the presence of food. Okay really shouldn't post things if you don't know what they are a oval shape pink pill with 67 on one side and a A on the other is a higher dose of amoxicilian to kill very bad infection that is servere ...
