Hi, this is Iris I'm 2 mos. pregnant. My doctor advised me to drink any folic acid which is 500mcg. However, what was given to me by the pharmacist was folart 5mg. Is it safe for me to drink it or should I stay with the 500mcg that the doctor advised? ## I take folart 500mg everyday. Is this safe for my baby? However, a pregnant woman needs a large amount of it, a deficiency in it can cause birth defects. I am 70 years old with no heart problems. Taking cap of 1 Ecosprin AV 75 at bedtime. I had been asked to stop before prostate biopsy. The biopsy has got delayed. Doctor prescribed Tylenol #4 for shingles pain. Can Tylenol #4 be split in half? There is too much codeine in a whole one. It makes me light headed and nauseous. ## To the person asking about splitting Tylenol # 4 in half as it is making you feel nausea. My advice would be to make sure you're not talking it on an empty stomach, as with most pain medications they should be taken with food, however, always read and follow any prescriptions directions and understand their side effects. I take 5mg of oxycodone about once a day for a TKR, I don't normally mix drugs and alcohol but I was bored so I waited 16hrs before I had 3 mixed drinks, each mixed drink I had was in a tall glass with less then a 1/4 of hard liquor and a lot of ice and to the top with pop and it took me 5hrs to drink 3 drinks and now its been 5hrs sense my last drink so how long do I have to wait to take a 5mg of oxycodone and no I didn't get a buzz from the drinks and I'm still myself (normal). ## Brenda, It sounds like you already know the answers, you're just looking for permission to justify imbibing and ingesting a powerful narcotic opiate/opioid.
