We need to know what pharmacies have adequate supplies of oxycodone between Tampa and Punta Gorda that would fill Dr. Turner's perscriptions written in Sarasota. ## I'm not sure you are going to find one, at this time. There seems to be a problem getting any Oxycodone prescription filled all over Florida, there have been many posts about it. Have you tried asking your doctor about using an alternative medication?

Unfortunantly every walgreens or safeway pharmacy that I have been to no longer carry the gereric brand (OC) only the new brand(OP) which is horrible. I have a serious question id like to be answered by a doc or pharmacist. I have been bedridden for a year because I haven't been able to fill my prescription in Florida. I need to know where to fill my script in Jacksonville Fla. ## Sorry to hear about your situation. From what I've recently read from others under similar circumstances, there are 'rumors' going around that Oxycodone in all its forms are gradually being taken off the market by the FDA. This would explain why very few people are having success finding a pharmacy to fill it; especially in Florida. I haven't found any official announcements that verify this claim, but I think the vast number of people unable to fill their scripts speaks for itself in many ways. Have you talked to your doctor about this? I'm not sure he or she would continue prescribing something if it can't ever be filled. Otherwise I would just suggest asking for a different prescription altogether....

However, the only suggestion I can make is that you try checking with the various pharmacies in your area. You'll need to physically go in, with the prescriptions in hand to find out whether or not they have it in stock. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. what other replacements r thet filling n where att? ## I am sorry you're having trouble getting your prescription filled, but I am afraid it is the same all over Florida for almost everyone. There have been a ton of posts about it and no direct reasons have been given, nor is any solution in immediate sight. Do you have prescription insurance? If so, then the best suggestion I can make, that has worked for some other people, is to contact them and see if they have a preferred mail order service that you can use. 2017 I have chronic back and sholder pain and I cant fill my prescriptions anywhere in South Florida because all the pharmacies are full to limited alloted. Please someone tell me something I'm 44 yrs old I m fine driving a distance I just need my pain to be at bay. Thank you ## I need to find a good pain management clinic who takes Medicaid. Found one kind of close by, called and was told, yes, they take Medicaid, but that they will NOT write narcotic scripts for Medicaid patients! Isn't this a form of discrimination?!

I started using Cvs. this past year since it's a preferred pharmacy through my insurance. At some point they said they could no longer fill my script for oxycodone; no explanation offered. I've been taking oxycodone at the same dose for four years after exhausting every means-physical therapy, trigger point injections, outpatient procedures, homeopathy, meditation, prayer (I still pray & meditate daily.) When I mentioned this to my pain management dr, he told me that in.2014, a huge quantity of. Narcotics went missing from CVS & has never been accounted for. This occurred both the New Castle Pa CVS as well as one in Florida. Again, because this community is plagued with drug addicts and criminals, those of us with legitimate health problems are paying the price.
