How do I lose weight while on esperide? Have been on esperide for about 4 months and I feel great. But since I've been on esperide I've struggled to lose weight. Is there a way to lose weight while using esperide? ## Hello, Lois! How are you? According to reports by the U.S. FDA, this class of medications is well known as causing weight gain as a side effect, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and mood swings. Unfortunately, there isn't really a way to prevent it, or lose much, while still taking it, but you can try to control it by eating a healthy, low-fat diet and getting lots of exercise. How much have you gained? Or are you just at a stalemate on losing?

Cardiologist keeps on saying nothing to worry about. I lost my husband 4 months ago and have been on Esperide for about 6 months. I have suffered from arrythmias before when not on Esperide but nothing half as bad as at present. Could this be drug induced? I also take Zanor SR ## Esperide contains the active ingredient Sulpiride, it is actually a type of antipsychotic used to treat Schizophrenia and major depressive disorder and yes, it has been known to cause heart rhythm problems, in some people. Esperide anti-depressant drug - long time use: I have been on esperide for at least 4 years continuously, varying between 2 - 4 capsules a day. The effects were quite significant - i was always tired, even after sleeping for 8 - 12 hrs; i was always grumpy; i forget many things; long & short term, i stopped having my period after 2 yrs & didn't have them for 3 yrs. It felt like i was comotosed; had no interest in things i previously loved, like sit coms & comedy, etc. I had no more energy and was freezing cold in the summer; i was not interested in intimacy. then checked with my gynea why certain hormone levels were extremely high. In the last 2 months I changed to a new anti-depressant - I'm now a new person, periods have come back, laughing again, remembering again...

My wife suffers from a dry mouth. Drinking water and chewing gum do not help much. She uses esperide, enap5, purata and adco-zolpiden. Could any of these be the culprit?. Can you advise. Regards. ## Hello, Jan! How are you? Any and all of them could be the culprit. Dry mouth is very common with most medications. When I had that problem, I found that sucking on sugarless sour candy usually helped. Otherwise, there really isn't much to be done about it, other than keep her mouth moist. Taking small sips of water or even lemon water frequently can help, along with the candy and mints. Does anyone else have any ideas to add? ## Most people get that from meds. I use the mouth wash (Biotene?). I found a way to use that mixed with a little silicone (drug stores sell it) & water. Use a ...

My usual medication is Verahexzal SR240mg, Migroben 160mg. These have been added to reduce my blood pressure * Puresis 20mg, * Plenish K, * Esperide and this last week Biliocor 5mg. These last few days I have been feeling lack of energy and a bit breathless - I would appreciate your professional comments? ## Yes, these medications can cause these issues as side effects, according to NIH reports. I had a similar issue, when I was taking Bisoprolol, the active ingredient in Biliocor. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination. However, it is always a good idea to check your blood pressure, since it may indicate low blood pressure, or other possible cardiac issues. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?

I had a baby 6 mths ago and I'm 43 years old. But unfortunately I can't seem to get back to my mental state of control and positivity. I've been put on cilift. However I developed a deeper depression. I was diagnosed as a manic depressive in my twentys and cilifit makes it worse. So the doctor put me on Eglonol as i did not want anything too strong. However I've gained weight. and I'm wondering if it is from the eglnol. It does help me in getting through my daily routine. I've put on 8 kilograms, 17.6 pounds after taking eglonol, in a period of three months. Can someone give me an indication. I do know that esperide is supposed to be a generic of eglonol, and it's side effects are mass gain.... CAN ANYONE HELP? ## Weight gain is a very prominent side effect o...
