I am a 22year old girl..I've gt MRI n EEG done in 2007..I faced a fit in 2007,my neurologist suggested me encorate plain 200 dt tym n last year I again gt a fit n dn another doctor on d basis of my previous reports guided me to have encorate chrono 200 n nw I've gained a lot of weight all of a sudden n have not even gt my dates since 2.5months..is it normal..plllzzz help n suggest wht cn I do..?? I've never faced ny prob.regarding my dates during ds course.. ## Hi, I am PRASHANTH. I too have been on encorate 500 from 2007, and gained weight from 75 to now 100kg. Consulted doctor again, he added lamoctal but I had Steven Johnson syndrome and hence stopped it. Now I am still on encorate 500 twice daily and don't know what to do. Anything to share? Please....

A male who is taking chrono200 can marry. ## From what I've read on the topic of side effects, this appears be a very dangerous medication for anyone. Apparently, cases of life-threatening inflammation of the pancreas have been reported with the use of divalproex (Encorate) delayed-release tablets. Life-threatening liver failure has also occurred in patients taking divalproex delayed-release tablets. Although Encorate is not a delayed-release version of the drug, I think it is still very important to contact your doctor and report any stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or loss of appetite, as soon as your recognize any symptoms (for your own safety). My son is being treated for epilepsy and is given the dosage of encorate chrono 200 mg, one in the morning and one in the evening. As informed by our neurologist, there are no side effects. As he is just 10 years old, we are quite afraid of the side effects over his studies, over his physical and mental health. My father has done a Multicentric gioblastoma surgery in last 22/11/2013 and since that he is using encorate chrono 200mg 3 times. He has a good appetite but now he is showing signs of heavy breathing, tired, pains in legs, sometimes headaches. is it a side effect of this medicine?

I am taking Enchorate Chrono 300mg everyday since 2006 for my seizures. My doctor suggested I take these tablets daily. I took one everyday, but some times I still get seizures and its not stopping. At times my hands and legs shake unknowingly. my wife 53 yrs taking epilepsy medicines since more than30 yrs, has been cured in 2009 and stop all medicines.but after some months again she had fit.Then our consultant started Lavera XR 500 -2tab twice and Encorate crono 500- 2tab twice daily.Total:2000 mg of both.since last year she had jaundice 3 times,December'12, october'13, and november'13.with naucea also.Please suggest alternate medicine of Encorate crono-500, as other consultant ask to stop Encorate.please advice urgently. ## What is the side effect using of Encorate chrono 500mg and disadvantages of Enchorate chrono? ## RAM: I . My 7years old daughter is using Encorate chrono 300 for last one year. Doctor has told ,she will have to take the medicine till 3 to 4 years. hello, I am having the Seizure disorderes with myoclinic seizures and have been consulting many neurologist for this issue, I am having this issue since last 10 years and my father also had this issue. I have been having Encorate Chrono 300 and now another doctor recommended me to have Valcontin 200 MG morning and night after food along with Clonotril 0.5 and Quitipin 25, Even after consuming many different tablets the myoclinic seizure is very much re-occuring and I am tired of consulting multiple doctors. Can you please help me with the solution ? or the best tablet that is made for Seizure disorderes with myoclinic seizures?
