I have just been discharged from hospital and prescribed adco-namamol tablet 500mg & Tramahexal 100mg for severe back pain (osteoporosis with numerous crushed vertebrae & discs-upper & lower spine) How will this impact my IBS which at present is presenting with constipation. The clinic was asked for a substitute for Arycor as this was expensive. Adco Napamol was given, is this the same? ## Hello, Jan! How are you? No, they are not the same, at all. Napamol just contains Paracetamol/Acetaminophen, so it's equivalent to Tylenol. But Arycor contains the active ingredient Amiodarone, which is used to treat heart arrhythmia.
