Hi m 30 weeks pregnent. I had been taking duvadilan retard from 23 weeks of pregnnancy as i suffered from water discharge frm urterus.. this was the cause doc. Started duvadilan .. at that te i was given injctn of duvadilan also.. nw evry thng is ok. But doc. Hasnt stopped duvadilan retard till now. I took twice a day. I am 38 weeks pregnant and no great signs of labour and no other complications.doctor advised me to take duvadilan twice daily for 5 days for knowing the baby movements beter..is it really that needed to take duvadilan now.i am already badly waiting for my delivery.will it delay my delivery ## This medication is used to help improve blood flow to the baby, so you should take it as directed by your doctor and no, it should not delay your delivery. My girl friend has a sign or history of leukemia. Her feet was been paralyzed before and now were having a baby but the moment that she was check up she didnt said anything about her leukemia and the doctor recommended her the Duvadilan. I had pain in my vagina and my doc prescribed duvadilan 10mg twice for 15days. I heard that it will have some side effect on the fetus. This is my first pregnancy and I am very much concerned about it. I want to know whether by taking this medicine is there any side effect on my baby or is it safe to take the medicine to avoid preterm labour.
