Ducola
10 Topics FoundThis has been prescribed - - there is nothing on the [Rx] label, or the container, stating the ingredients. (I suppose because it IS a prescription.) I have searched far and wide trying to find out the ingredients; is it a combo of colace and ducolax? or simply some company trying to trade on the syllables "duco", since ducolax is a well-known brand name! Thanks. ## From what I could gather, Dulcolax stool softener is the same thing as Colace. They are not different other than the brand name. That said, it does make sense that Ducolace would simply be another brand name of the drug (from a different manufacturer perhaps). I'm surprised the pharmacy who filled your prescription didn't give you more details on it. It seems like they try to get people out of there as quick ...
I am now using them for intestinal spasms ## The side effects do not necessarily change when you combine medications, however, some can intensify the side effects in a synergistic manner. For instance, since the mineral oil can treat constipation, combining it with the Dulcolax may cause diarrhea and loose bowels. Urobicid contains the active ingredient Norfloxacin, this is an anitbiotic. One of its side effects is diarrhea, so you may run into some severe bowel problems if you use all of these together. Baralgin contains Metamizole, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation. Do you have any other questions? ## What if you combine mineral oil with baralgin . I just did a hemorrhoids operation ## I would use the minera...
Effects of taking hydrocodone acetaminophen, temazepam and ducolax at the same time. I now have double vision and feel very tired and weak. ## Hello, Marlete! How are you doing, now? It was likely due to taking the opiate with the benzodiazepine, they can both cause sedation as side effects and that will be compounded when you combine them. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause other side effects, such as headache, irritability, dry mouth and constipation. Have they both been prescribed for you?
I see lots of people here who need a cheaper alternative to Suprep. The Mayo Clinic recommends 8 Bisacodyl(Ducolax) tablets and 2 bottles of Magnesium Citrate split over 2 doses. This is just as good as Suprep and produces the same result. Many other clinics have similar recommendations. Do an internet search for "Ducolax and Magnesium Citrate bowel prep instructions". In my opinion, Suprep is just a convenience. The end result for either method is the same. You take laxatives and drink clear fluids until nothing comes out but clear fluids. It's not rocket science. ## Thank you for providing this information, William! I am sure that it will help many. But, before anyone follows these instructions, please check with your doctor and make sure that it is safe for you to do so. ...
my doctor tol;d me to take these tablets. i just want to know these medicines drug information. ## Hello, Shiju! How are you? The Ducolax is just a stool softener, to prevent constipation. The Aciloc contains the active ingredient Ranitidine, which is an antacid, it's used to treat or prevent conditions such as ulcers, GERD, heartburn and gastritis, which means it was likely given to prevent the stomach irritation that the Lyser can cause, since it contains the active ingredient Diclofenac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Unfortunately, I can't find any information on anything under the name Nidare. Can you please double check the name and spelling? Thanks!
the pill is pink (pepto bismol pink) , small, and oval. One side has 44 above 326 in black lettering and the other side is blank. I am just curious as to what it is. ## it is a female laxative, like ducolax ## That is correct, this contains 5mgs of Bisacodyl, a generic or store brand for Correctol, used to treat occasional irregulararity/constipation.
