Drug Test Chantix

How long will chantix stay in the body after you stop taking it? I have a physical coming up and I'm just wondering if I need to worry about testing positive for any DOT regulated drug? ## I take Zoloft and Chantix. I had a urine test the other day for school. Will it show a positive for drugs? This is a DOT.

Instructions said you could keep smoking so I did and kept waiting for that bolt of lightning. In two I doubled up to bout 2 packs day, gave up the pill, and quit trying to quit. Those cigis were much then and eventually I got to three packs. Early 2013 I cold turkey quit. Chantix didn't win any points. ## Hello, Woodyj! How are you? Will provigil cause you to fail a drug test? I do have a script so I am not worried just extremely curious ## I take suboxone and failed my drug test for oxycodone which is equilvalent to a 5mg oxycodone pill. Is there anyway this could be a false positive. I take xanax 2mg, flexeril, chantix, and albuteral. I smoke cigarettes and have to quit cold turkey to get this job. They told me that if I quit 3 days before the screening I'll be good but they also said not to take Chantix because it has nicotine in it and will show up on the test. The google results ALL say that chantix has NO nicotine?

I'm taking chantix for 3 weeks now can I take xenadrine Ultra ## Have you checked with your doctor? The Xenadrine products are over the counter dietary supplements that are claimed to aid in weight loss, however, as such, they aren't tested for possible interactions with actual prescription drugs. Thus, I can really only advise that you check with your doctor or pharmacist, before taking it.

I am a very grateful 43 year young woman. I quit smoking for the 1st time after smoking for 24 years. I was having an elective surgery and my surgeon said I had to quit 14 days before my procedure. Which I ended up quitting 12 days before. He nicotine tested me the day of my procedure to be sure I hadn't smoked. I let him know it had only been 12 days, and I was able to have my procedure! When given an under the tongue saliva drug screen/test (a test that takes 5-10 minutes to collect saliva from under the tongue into a stem that when done turns blue) could any of these medications (chantix 1.o mg, omeprazole dr 40mg, or simvastatin 40mg) give what is called a false positive result or show up as any other type of drug? My friend went to urgent care and they called her and said she tested positive for lithium. She doesn't take lithium but is on trazodone, seroquel, depakote, prozac, amitriptyline, minipress, chantix and gabapentin. ## I don't know of a drug that tests positive for lithium, but there is a particular vial used for collecting blood samples that has a green cap and contains lithium and heparin. I take hydrocodone 10/325 3 x daily. I also take, Cymbalta 90mg, Elavil 50mg, Trazodone 150mg, Losartan 5mg, Quetiapine 100mg and Chantix daily. I was just tested and on a Reflex test that was positive for Oxymorphone and Morphine. I have never taken either of these drugs. Why would they show up? Thanks!

Please someone help. I was going for a job and they tested my blood and it came back positive for methamphetamine. I don't know how to get nor want to know. Please this is my livelihood. I am prescribed a lot of antidepressants, headache meds, allergy meds and chantix, plus over the counter motrin in the morning and generic at night. Please help. I cant sleep or eat. In recent times I have taken Oxycontin, Oxycodone, Valium, Soma, Testosterone, Nexium, Amlodipine, Fenofibrate, Chantix, Aspirin, Sudafed, Nasal Spray, Lidoderm Patches, Voltaren gel, NyQuil, milk of magnesia, metamucil, Whey Protein and Multi vitamins. Why is it coming up as a dirty urine? ## The nasal spray can make a false positive for meth. Not sure about " Crystal" meth. I currently take hydrocodone 5mg 4x, albuterol inhaler, ranitadine, vistaril, chantix, mobic, gabapentin and i have a medical marijuana card. I was recently on doxycycline, and nizoral cream. I'm also a caretaker for someone. I handle their medication on an almost daily basis. I went to my doctor and she said i tested positive for oxycodone....there has to be some mistake. Could i have absorbed any from handling the medication ## No, you shouldn't absorb enough for it to be detectable on a drug test, since the tablets are coated. It was more than likely just caused by the Hydrocodone you are taking, if the doctor is using a less expensive, non-certified test. Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well with the Chantix and are able to quit smoking! I'm a week and a half in and so far, no terrible side effects. The main thing I'm dealing with is extreme fatigue. Is anyone else having this problem? I went to the doctor today because I'm having other issues aside from the fatigue i.e. sores on my legs (I know...gross) had a blood clot last year, and just diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. I am a walking nightmare health wise lol! Anyway, they did some test to determine if the fatigue is from something else. Like I've said, I've been taking Chantix for a week and a half now and I haven't had any crazy mood swings or nightmares. Please help. I took a drug screening for porole today and it came back positve for benzos. I never took a benzo. I am taking chantix and bactrim. Can that cause it to come up positive for benzos?
