What are the side effects when Lithium and Metformin are taken together? ## I checked both WebMD and MedScape and there were no interactions found between these 2 drugs. However, you should still confirm everything with your doctor since they are familiar with your medical history.

What are the interactions between Metformin, Amlodipine & Losartan taken together, and is it safe to take these together? ## I didn't find any problems, or interactions listed, but it is always best to double check to be sure. However, they are commonly prescribed together to treat diabetes, and high blood pressure. The FDA does warn that you may experience more severe side effects than usual, such more severe dizziness, and drowsiness. So, it would be best to be careful about driving, or operating machinery, until you know how they affect you. Have they all been prescribed for you?

Can I take ciprofloxacin at the same time with Lisinopril or Amlodipine and Metformin? Can I also take it so minutes before I take Slo Niacin and Soy Isoflavones in the evening? ## information on ciprofloxoin hcl ## Have they all been prescribed for you? Ciprofloxacin can increase the amount of Amlodipine that you absorb, it can also increase the effect of Metformin, according to the FDA reports, so it's best not take them unless your doctor has said you should do so. Additionally, the Niacin may alter the effects of your Metformin and reduce its efficacy. Some of these medications may require dosage instructions, while you are taking the Ciprofloxacin.

I Take Metformin Is It Ok To Diazepam As Well ## NO Problem. ## I have two different pills. One says APO on one side and on reverse it is scored and has an'M' and 500 on it. The other metformin pill ( that I was used to 0 is oblong and unscored with #93 on one side and 48 on the other. Both are to 500mg. Are they really the same..just different manufacturs? Can I take lipozene with metformin? I take four 500 mg of metformin a day. ## @Pumpkinb, According to umm.edu's drug interaction checker, there are interactions listed between the active ingredient in Lipozene (Glucomannan) and Metformin. These precautions note that 'taking Glucomannan with an anti-diabetic agent may cause blood sugar levels to drop too low'. Furthermore, taking the two together can reportedly increase your risk of certain side effects. And lastly, they also recommend contacting your doctor if you were to experience any of the following symptoms while taking these two substances: blurred vision, confusion, headaches, excessive sweating, nervousness, jitters or shakes. I did check the interactions between Metformin and several of them and, so far, they have all come up with the same warning that if the patience experiences any type of renal impairment and dehydration, it can increase the likelihood of Lactic Acidosis. Oddly enough though, my findings state that there are potentially unsafe interactions between Hydrochlorothiazide/Lisinopril and Metformin.
