I notices I am get extremly fatigued after taking Doxycycl Hycl Cap 100mg for acne. Is this normal? ## Hi Mary, Interestingly enough, "extreme tiredness or weakness" is in-fact listed as a severe side effect of Doxycycline. In such cases, it is recommended that you contact your doctor immediately to help address this issue. i was prescribed this for a vaginal bacteria infection. since i have been taking it i have experienced itching in this region and almost feels sensitive and swollen. is this normal? am i allergic? ## Unfortunately, while Doxycycline is an antibiotic that can treat bacterial infections, it can cause a fungal yeast infection, as a side effect. Is this antibiotic for sinus infection or a cold ## Hello, Susie! How are you? Antibiotics will not do anything to treat a cold, they are only effective at treating bacterial infections and colds are caused by a viral infection, so if it was prescribe, it was most likely for the sinus infection. what are the dangers of this drug. It was prescribed today 2 pills daily for 10 days and then one pill daily for 20 days after that, for a full 30 days, I will be taking this drug. for diagnosed rosacea, but my skin is really pretty nice I think. I had what I thought was a stye.

green cap ## Was given Doxycycline Hyc 100mg for sinus/bronchitus... have been taking it only for 5 1/2 days and small bumps are appearing on my neck and chest area....is this an allergic reaction and if so should I discontinue taking this medicine? I started to feel better after 3 days and now this rash is developing.....was taking an over the counter med with it... Thera-Flu but have not taken that for three days.
