Is it like a lower tab. can i go to work on it? ## I've been taking Naproxen (500mg) for muscle spasms in my back. I take it with food and it still causes nausea and a bit of disorientation...I don't drive for a few hours after I've taken the pill. However, I do not take a Naproxen until I've come home from work. I find that a combination of Naproxen and Cyclobenzaprine (anti-inflammatory) will ease my discomfort in a matter of 2 - 3 days. ## Hello, I believe the next lowest dosage is 375mg. Naproxen also comes in lower dosages of 220, 250, and 275 mg. There's no way for me to know if u will be able to go to work on the 500 mg tab because everyone reacts to medication differently. Those amounts would exceed the known daily tosic levels of these medications and can be very dangerous. Can I take two at the same time if I'm in a lot of pain? ## I can confirm that these are over the counter naproxen 220 mg (NDC 0113-4368 among others), which are nsaid fever + pain relievers. That being said, taking two would result in a 440 mg dose, which is actually lower than some prescription doses of 500 mg. As far as dosage instructions for adults 12 and over go, the page on DailyMed states: - take 1 caplet every 8 to 12 hours while symptoms last - for the first dose you may take 2 caplets within the first hour - do not exceed 2 caplets in any 8- to 12-hour period - do not exceed 3 caplets in a 24-hour period So according to the above directions, you should be okay to take 2 caplets for your first dose only. ## Sounds like they are naproxen 220mg i think, often used for pain r...

i found an oblong shaped pill on my entertainment center it has IP 500 on 1 side and nothing on the other.anyone have any idea what it is,i am hoping to identify it. ## No, I'm not finding a listing for a tablet with just IP 500 on it in our U.S. prescription drug resources.
