Does Percocet Have Hydrocodone In It

Im wondering why I would be able to take darvacett & percocetts but I cant take vicodin. Arent theese medications all the same? Would the fact that I have a codeine allergy make a difference? I have been on percocet 10/325. My little two new generation pharmacy has been closed since Thursday due to the holiday I am out of percocet can i take my hydrocodone 10/325 until late I can get my prococet? Have been taking pain meds for 8 years due to terrible back. Have had 4 back surgeries with 3 of them since 2014, the last one was August 2016 which was spinal fusion L4/5 with screws, plate, rod and pins! Also suffer from fibromyalgia which is bad this time of year. I have been taking percocets 10mg x 6 daily since last surgery. Last week switched from pain management to primary physician due to cost and drive an hour away. Am now been switched to hydrocodone 10mg 4 x a day and tramadol 50mg 2 x a day. I take Lortab 10's, Fentanyl 100mg patch every 3 days and Ibuprofen. I stay in constant pain and wanted to know what I could switch to that would be stronger and help with my constant pain. my husband had his leg amputated and i have mixed up some meds. i think a white oval tab with 105 is one of his hydrocodone meds but am unsure. there are no other markings and he takes so many tabs daily i used a weekly pill container and i am now totally confused. am a bit doutfull but would appreciate any info. ## The tablet with the 105 marking on it is actually a generic for Percocet, it contains 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a narcotic pain reliever. I am trying to substitute for 10/650 Percocet. When I see my MD soon, I was going to ask for the equivalent Percodan instead ( afraid of liver damage after many years )...will I have problems adjusting and what is Percodan equivalent to (3) 10/650 Percocets day? Also, Is Tramadol the only way to get off this on my own? I do not tolerate any of the oxy drugslike Percocet I hallucinate. theprescribed dose of hydrocodone is not cutting the pain. it's ok to take another if I'm still in pain after one hour? ## If your meds aren't working, talk to the pharmacy first. I'm trying to manage pain for degenerative stenosis and see that hydrocodone is usually in 5 or 10 mg pills, while oxy, which is supposedly 2+ times stronger, is in 20 , 30 or 40 mg pills. What am I missing here? ## Originally, since it has the Acetaminophen added, the Hydrocodone products, such as Vicodin, Lortab and etc. were meant to be only for short-term use. Just to treat pain that was expected to resolve in a week or two, such as what someone may experience after they've had surgery or been in an accident. I have a pink oblong pill with ucb on one side and the number 90 on the other. Would you please tell me what it is. Thank you ## Are you certain of the marking? The only pink, oblong tablet that I can find listed has the UCB on one side and the numbers 910 on the other, though the one can look like it's part of the score line. I will like to know what is a strong pain killer that I could talk yo my dentist, I got 12 teeth pulled out @ once and I been hurtting so bad, can't eat or sleep. Can you please tell me if this is a Percocet? I'm afraid to take it but am in a lot of pain. My Rx was filled from India. ## It might be hard to say for sure. Can you reply back with any details on the packaging such as a manufacturer name? Also, you said in the title that it is supposed to be Hydrocodone. The issue is that Percocet does not contain Hydrocodone as an active ingredient. It is a combination of Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. I had a total shoulder replacement and my doctor gave me Percocet to go home with. They immediately took the pain away for about 4-5 hours. Now she has given me Vicodin 5/325 and they are not working, not even 2 at a time. Why don't they work for me but the Percocet does?
