Does stilpane or pacacetamol have penicillin ## Stilpane contains 320mgs of Paracetamol, 8mgs of Codeine, 32mgs of Caffeine and 150mgs of Meprobamate. And Paracetamol is exactly that, it contains no other active ingredients, so no, neither one of these medications contain Penicillin. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Hi. I am allergic to penicillin and I had a rootcanal and started getting a absess witch the tooth was then removed. I ended up 3 days later even worse than when the tooth was in. im break out if I take penicillin and I was wondering if sulfa trimeth ds 800-160 have any penicillin bc the doctor give me some and I was just wondering if it have any before I take any ## Hi ash, Sulfamethoxazole + trimethoprim does not contain any penicillin; nor is it derived from penicillin. It's actually a sulfonamide. So as long as you aren't also allergic to sulfa drugs, there shouldn't be any problems in my opinion. Additionally, my thoughts are that if the doctor was already aware of your allergy to penicillin, he/she probably wouldn't make the mistake of prescribing something that was related to it. Although it is good that you took the time to check because mistakes do happen. I hope this helps!
