Does Amoxicillin Treat Bladder Infections

It is Saturday night and My female K-9 has uncontrolled urination and last time this occurred about a year ago the Vet prescribed Cephalexin 500mg. I have a bladder infection that makes my urinating urgent and sometimes uncontrollable. I was given a prescription for smz-tmp to treat it. Like an idiot I started the prescription but never finished it because I was also given amoxicillin to treat an infection in my tooth then panicked cause I was taking both of them at once and I was scared of overdoing it. Now months later I'm having some serious lower back pain and I'm considering finishing both prescriptions in hopes to make a full regimen. will augmentin work on a bladder infection ## Augmentin contains the active ingredients Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid, it is used to treat many types of infections. However, unless you have definitely been diagnosed as having a bladder infection, you should not use it. If you do, you run the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria.
