Doctor That Can Prescribe Methadone

I just moved to Idaho from California. I am on methadone for degenerative disc disease. And have been on it for 8years. A pain team with Kaiser Permanente put me on it.. well this was an unexpected move. . I got on Idaho medicaid and they assigned me to a health clinic(after i didn't choose one because of everything going on)well the clinic has a policy that they dont prescribe anything over the equivalent of 120Mg morphine.. they wont fill my script! I live in the Boise area... Any suggestions? ## I don't think most of us realize that taking opioids for long periods can also cause pain because your body is asking for more and (causing issues with other parts of your body without you recognizing it and has a terrible affect on your mind) not taking on time can be painful as well...

If you're looking for addiction treatment with Methadone, you will have to go to a treatment clinic. Under the current U.S. laws, private doctors cannot prescribe it for addiction treatment, that can only be done in a clinical setting by those that are specially trained in its use for such. im a carpenter in ny, I was going to a methadone clinic, but unfortunately I work from 5am-5pm daily, and that's when there open. I need an alternative way to get methadone. It was working, nothing else really works for me. Maybe someone knows a way, or dr. Im located in Hackensack nj, but work in the city. I do have back problems, I don't know if that would help? I moved from Jersey to Nc and got the pain meds off of someone else and when I became pregnant I was told to go to a methadone clinic. I am addicted to strong pain meds and I am tired of having to come off of them, the withdrawal is awful. I went to a urgent care doc and was prescribed suboxone. I take anxiety meds too but he wants me to stop. I really need the anxiety meds but he wants me off them.
