I have been taking Percocet in different doses shapes & sizes for the past 15 years. With APP & without... I find absolutely have find very very very little difference (I say three times) between the different generic on the market & I find it bizarre that these people say they find drastic differences between them. I see a Less then 5% difference between manufactures.... Living in south Florida,Surviving thru the Pill Mill fiasco & swept clear thru the other side. I've read a lot of the messages but didn't find one referring to what I got this month. Its mfg is Alvog round off white maybe a light yellow pill with a symbol on one side and 230 on the other side. Are the 325 10 rp better than the a3333? ## I live in south Florida & these are the common 10mg Percocets I've come across. The RP's are not effective at all, and are weak. the A333's are DESCENT for pain relief, and personally are OK. I read this information about the pills on here and people want to make you think your crazy about medicine you have been taking for years. Like I have been taking the WATSON brand Oxycodone 10/325 for years and 1 always worked. It was the only pain med I was taking. I get up in the morning and hurt so bad I would take 1 and with in 15 minutes I felt I could make it through the day. I always had some left over every month. On Jan 2014 I went to get my meds filled and all the sudden no one seems to have the WATSON brand so I got stuck with ACTAVIS brand pill A333 on it for the whole month of Jan I hurt so bad then in Feb I told my Dr when I got my Prescription he told me to try another pharmacy. My last 2 months of taking Alvogen 10/325 are turning faint yellow and look like they have been in water as the shape and medicine doesn't seem to be that effective. Additionally, there are also differences in the lists of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that make up each tablet's composition. I am having some concerns regarding this med from WALGREENS. They are pale yellow....I chewed on one and looked at my tongue. What I saw was very unusual. The substance of the pill was very bright yellow. It was gummy on texture like a eatery spackle or paste. It was thick and didn't dissolve. It had no taste really. I left it on my tongue for 20 minutes. I had zero numbing to my tongue. I used to break part of a pill and place on a breaking tooth...it would numb the nerve very quickly. Would like to know who distributes a 40mg yellow oxycodone with half moon and 330? What company? ## Hi Rebecca - The "half moon" sounds a lot like either the old Actavis logo or the Alvogen logo. Unfortunately I can't find a version with 330 on it from their product listings. Actavis does distribute a 40mg yellow oxycodone but with "OP 40" on it. But Alvogen's markings are a bit closer - They have an Oxycodone 10mg + Acetaminophen 325 mg pill (generic Percocet) which is round and yellow with the inscription 230 along with the Alvogen logo on them (NDC 47781-230). My pharmacy keeps trying to change my generic 10/325 percocet, I always check ahead of time to not get the crappy generics. So I have just been told the ones they have now are oblong, flat, yellow with markings E712 on one side & 10/325 on the other side. & was told they are made by Endo. Do you have any feedback on how good this particular generic is?
