Dextroamphetamine Generic Adderall

Hey all, I take Dex IR for ADHD-C in the afternoons and it works great. I need to find an XR medication to take in the AM that works as well as my PM Dex booster. Pdoc and I have tried Adderall XR (made me fatigued, flat, and surly--I don't think my brain plays well on l-amphetamine) and Vyvanse (GI side effects and felt like a sugar pill--don't think I metabolize it correctly). I'm thinking ER Dextroamphetamine (the spansules) might be the next logical thing to try. Generics are tricky and I know there is no longer a brand name Dexedrine Spansule. So, for those on the generic dextroamphetamine spansules, what generic brand do you use/have tried, and what do you think? I recently got my generic adderall filled from a new pharmacy. The bottle says its amphetamine 20 mg tab MAL. It has a 20 on one side of the pill with four partial scores and the other side has an M inside a box. The pill is 8 sided. The pill doesn't have the potency my previous pills have does anyone have any info on thi particular pill? ## I am having the same problem.I filled my adderall from my Pharmacist I always go to.. I cannot find any real defined reason of why the sudden change and Pharmacist never said anything?? I want to know if it works well? I barely feel it. It's mixed with amphetamine and was prescribed as generic adderall. ## What are you expecting to feel? Mixed Amphetamine salts is the generic for Adderall, but it is possible that you aren't at the right dosage to help you. The manufacturer is listed as Aurolife Pharmaceuticals, based in New Jersey. I haven't tried them personally, but did come across a few posts on here stating that they weren't nearly as good as some of the other versions on the market. I have been taking Adderal for many years, the orange oval generic pill. My last prescription had white R 351 pills. I never had a problem with the orange ones. The new white ones give me chest pain and nausea and I'm very shaky inside and out to the point that I thought I was given the wrong medication by the pharmacy I use. I've taken adderall 10mg for several years without any problems. Recently switched to a generic manufactured by Mackrodt Spec called "dextroamphetamine " . Has Core Pharmaceuticals improved their product since the year 2009? When I last tried the Core 10mg generic version of Adderall, is was most inconsistent, almost as bad as Ranbaxy, the latter now off the market. Core now has a license to manufacture 5 mg and 10 mg pure dextroamphetamne. Some Rite Aid chain stores in the USA carry this product. Any experiences with anybody on Core C-II stimulants? Core also is a subsidiary of Amedra Pharma, and under Amedra, they also have a fairly new license to make the Dexedrine Spansules in 5mg 10mg and 15 mg at a very high price. I have been on Barr/Teva dexedrine sulfate (generic) for 14 years. After 5 "shortages" I recently received back my script, butt it's a placebo !!!! Nothing at all. I took 25 10 milligram tabs; nothing at all. It's an unethical and disgusting scam. My spouse takes 10 mg twice daily of d-amphetamine salt combo and I take 30 mg Dextroamphetamine twice daily. I am currently without insurance and I had to pay $275 (cheapest I could find) for my GENERIC Adderall XR 20mg/60 count. I have read that Teva was the only one to produce the generic version for 180 days from the launch date, which was 4/2/09. My math indicates their 180 days will be up in two days (9/30/09) but I can't find out if any other companies are going to be producing the generic which should drive the price down significantly.
