Dea Cracking Down Of Pain Pills
8 Topics FoundDoes anyone know a doctor that is good about prescribing pain killers like hydrocodens 10/325 in fort worth Texas? I am a diabetic type 1 that has a lot of pain and really in need of a good doctor that can help me out and not think i am faking pain. ## Due to the new laws that have recently been put in place, you will most likely be better off seeing a pain management specialist and there isn't a very good chance of getting this particular medication anymore. The FDA and DEA are cracking down and aren't letting general practitioners or surgeons treat chronic pain that requires long-term regular treatments. They will only be allowed to prescribe such medications for a short period of time, such as for a few weeks immediately after someone has had surgery or been injured. Learn mo...
Like many of you, I've tried over 40 different pharmacies from major hospitals to neigborhood corner pahmacies and anything places in between. Some pharmacies are doing one of 4 things, they are lying about not having them, they have them but not in the 30mg strenth, they've stopped or don't carry it anymore or they can't (or won't) fill your script, and it all boils down to the DEA taking control and cracking down on the abuse of this strong narcotic. It's a sad shame that many people has to suffer with their legitmate pain as a result of not being able to find the med. I had one hospital tells me they can fill the script if the doctor is one of their's, when I told her he was, she put me on hold, then came back to say they didn't have that mg(30), had a...
personally i think, the DEA, is cracking down, i know the doctors are scared their gonna lose their license, where i live they are getting ridiculous about it! there is an epidemic, which in return is ruining it for us folks who really need the stuff to just even feel a little comfort from excrutiating pain, there is even a brand called "qualitest" for God sakes! not positive, but i believe, food and drug adm., are lowering the strength, to get american's off the drug!!!!! ## From what I've seen, Watson does have a yellow and white version of their "853" generic Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone tablets. They list the dosage as still being 325/10 in the newer white ones, however, there have been numerous complaints from patients who have tried both versions, saying tha...
I have had many Qualitest Hydrocodone 10/325, printed different. Right way is v, turn over3601, which is correct. Others , the V is upside down. Totally different printed pills. This should not be happening. I am concerned they are counterfeit pills. Happened to me twice now. NEVER use to have this problem. ## It's not counterfeit, it just has to do with the pharmacy ordering from a different soarse. Like meds from the V.A. are marked different. Right no with DEA and FDA cracking down is making it hard for pharmacies to get any type of pain medication. Sad part is that this is creating people who are in need are going to the streets for meds, this in turn is more drug dealers out there so now DEA can keep there jobs. I think it's a bunch of b.s cause I take 15mg. of morphine and...
I have been on pain medication for 12 years. I need methodone 10 mg #135. I can't get it without an average of 10 pharmacies. I'm luck to get it at all. Pharmacies say they won't order in advance. I live in Altamonte Springs but would travel a distance to get it. Any sugestions. ## Well, the main issue here is that there were certain laws that pharmacies in various areas of the U.S. were found to not be enforcing and the FDA and DEA are cracking down now to make them do so. They are actually only allowed to order and keep in stock a certain amount each month and many were exceeding that amount regularly and just ordering in more whenever they had a customer that needed it, or to just have it in stock. However, since there are yearly manufacturing limits, this was adding to t...
I live in riverside county Ca. 92553. I recieve a rx from my pain dr. for the past 2yrs. Why won't no pharmacy fill my rx.They can call his office n his staff he will verify it.All the pharmacies keep saying it's on back order, they don't carry it,n no one will order it for me. Did the DEA change the rules on filing methadone in California? HELP! IT'S BEEN ALMOST 2WEEKS. ## Sorry to hear about your troubles trying to fill this medication. From what I understand, many patients are having the same challenges across the Nation with regards to filling just about any type pain medication script over a certain dosage. Apparently the DEA has been cracking down heavily on pain medication abuse "within FL."; even suing Walgreens $80 million for filling too many Oxycodone ...
im cant find any drug stores taking new pain contracts in knoxville tn,if anyone has any info please email me ## HI, Wanda! Sorry about the problem that you're having. Do you have insurance? If so, then I'd suggest contacting them to see if they have a mail order pharmacy that you can use. That might make it easier to get your prescription filled. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Though they weren't being enforced for quite a long time, there are actually limits on how much of any controlled substance a pharmacy can order in and have in stock each month and earlier this year, the DEA started cracking down to enforce these limits. This has caused many pharmacies to have to refuse new customers for such medications, since once they are out each month, they are out and cannot...
Ive been looking for a doctor to give me xanax for my anxiety. My main doctor said I have to go to a psychiatrist to get it. Why can every other doctor in the united states give it out but the ones where I live wont> ## No, that is something that is changing for everyone, for those with chronic pain, as well as those that require some type of psychiatric medication. General practitioners and surgeons will only be allowed to prescribe such medications for a short period of time, such as when someone has had surgery, or been in an accident. For long-term treatment, people will not have to see specialists. There has been a lot of concern about people possibly not being correctly diagnosed, overly medicated and etc. so the FDA and DEA are cracking down to get better control of the probl...
