I have several hydroc/apap prescriptions (syrup), and I can't remember if they are cough suppressants or not. I don't want to take it for my back pain if it is a cough syrup. I can't swallow pills, so I get the syrup form, and I don't want to take a cough syrup. The liquid is yellowish. Can anyone help me decipher the label? What does ELXQUAL mean? I just got cheratussin ac and it is very very light pink almost clear, Is this the right color? I am asking because it is not making me drowsy and is not helping my cough very much. ## Cheratussin AC - Syrup contains Codeine (10 mg) + Guaifenesin (100 mg) per 5 mL. As far as I'm concerned, if your label is similar to the one in the link below, then it is supposed to be a very light reddish pink color: NOTE: You may have to scroll down the page to see the label. As you can see, they put "red #40" in the inactive ingredient list. Whether or not the color matches is one thing, but if it doesn't work for you then you need to consider contacting your doctor or pharmacy about stronger forms of this medication. I have a tropical flavored hydrocodone-apap liquid but it doesn't say the strength?!! How much wud I need to take to equal 1 yellow 10/325 norco? It says take 1 teaspoon every 4-6 hrs for cough. Or am I way off and the whole bottle won't equal 1? Lol ## The bottle should have the amount of medication in 5 cc's on the bottle. Are there any numbers on the bottle after the name of the medication ? ## If it's hydrocodone/acetaminophen sol, it's 7.5/325 per 15 ml meaning 7.5 mgs hydrocodone, 325 Tylenol if it's the new sol, older formula has 500mg acetaminophen(Tylenol) so you would need 20ml to get 10mg. fairly narrow, round, striking blue pill marked PN-25 is 25 mg of phenergen (i.e. promethazine, ingredient of many anti hayfever medication,and of Night Nurse industrial strength sedative cough syrup). This is a medicine used to treat nausea (e.g. travel sickness), allergic reactions as it is an anti-histamine, and can be used as a mild sedative at doses between 25-50 mg. enjoy!

I was prescribed Moxif 400 for suffering from cough for over 8 weeks with no relief from other antibiotics and cough syrups, anti allergic tablets etc. However, within 30 mins of taking the first dose, I felt as if I have no strength to sit or move and my BP fell to 110/60 with pulse 49. I recovered in about 3-4 hours of rest but still the fatigue was present. I discontinued it after 1st tab - am not sure will it have any long term impact for incomplete dose? Is there any other alternative?
