why does 176 Norco made byCaraco make me sick .I have been on Norco for 10 years, never had this brand until Target/CVS gave it to me this mo. never had stomach pains nausea'.will never take this again trying to make my 30 days time frame ## Hello, Poppy! How are you feeling? I'm sorry about the problem you've experienced. The inactive ingredients can differ from one manufacturer to the next, so Caraco may have used something that you're sensitive to. There is also a chance that these pills may be a bit stronger than the others, which could also cause these types of symptoms. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ...

what are the red dots for? ## Hi greg, Based on my research, the red dots are just there as a design. They are not made of any active ingredient to enhance the medication. There are some pills with blue dots as well, it's just how the manufacturer decided to design the pills for brand identification. Do you have any more questions regarding this medication? If so, please post back! ## They are chemical marker that the DEA has forced pharmaceutical manufacturers to mix in to pills for tracking drug traffic. They will be in all narcotics soon but are primarily in hydrocodone, ambient and some ADHD meds. Different regions get slightly different colors so they can trace sources to the area and even pharmacy ie. Walmart, CVS, Walgreens. This is why there have been some shortages recently...

I recently went to CVS and forgot that they use some sort of generic for lortab called, well, I call it "Mallencrock (crock-o-crap). I have a refill. Can I go in and ask that they not make me pay for something I can't stand and doesn't work for me, and that I would like to have Lortab/Watson brand? ## There have been many complaints about the products manufactured by Mallinckrodt. Yes, you can ask them ahead of time if they have a different one in stock to fill your prescription, though it may be more expensive. If they don't, or won't order it in for you, you could always see about transferring your prescription elsewhere. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I actully did what you said and had it transferred to Walgreens and they happily gave me what I wanted...

Has anyone filled their prescription for blue Watson 10/500 pills from any pharmacies over the phone? I got 90 that look like my CVS refill, but have the effect of a vitamin. Ripped off again. ## I think I was similarly scammed. The color was greenish, not blue like the regular Watson 10/500 and tasted salty. I had been called 20 times and finally succumbed. Is this your experience too. The phone number was a 305 exchange ## I purchased Norcos over the phone. Came in a vacuumed plastic bag. They were blue with WATSON 540 printed on them. The looked real but when you take them it is like you are on valium, you don't get pain relief. Purchased from a 321 exchange. Anyone else with the same experience? ## I have also received fake pills from a 321 exchange. They are not real and will n...

Is it like the yellow pill with the cursive V on it (10/325)? That's what I use to get but today I got this. What's the difference? ## They have just been manufactured by different companies, which is common with generics. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. How are you doing taking them? Have you experienced anything unusual? ## CVS just refilled my hydrocodone WITH CARACO/SUN PH. I noticed my insurance didn’t pay a penney as they use to pay a few dollars on my prescription when I had mfr..Mallinckrodt. All about big profits for CVS. Now I feel sick.

I've been taking Watson 5-325 hydrocodone from Walgreens for years for back pain. I am disabled, have scoliosis and two bad car accidents caused the need. 3 months ago Walgreens changed to this new Actavis brand. It isn't working! Until I read this, I thought I would have to increase my dosage. Also for the past 3 months I've had sore throat and pain in sinuses and ears. I thought I had overdone my Flonase and have gone through 2 rounds of antibiotics without relief. When I read about the mother's ears ringing and nausea, I put this together. Thank you so much! I scheduled another appointment today for next week about this. Hopefully a new scrip will solve both issues. I went to CVS today and found out they have qualitest brand hydrocodone. ## @Brat Cat, You're defin...

I am trying to find this product in Phoenix Arizona. No one so far carries it. Its a oval white pill with 3604V printed on it. Google says it made by Qualitest. I've tried Walgreen's, Walmart, CVS, and Fry's. The pill has little red specks on it. If I could find that certain pill I'd really appreciate it because it does not make me sick to my stomach like the other brands. Thanks. ## There is really no way to know which pharmacy might have it in stock, generally the generic they carry can vary depending on who was offering the cheapest price, via their distributor, at the time they needed to restock their supply. Some place might list is under UDL Laboratories, since that is a licensed distributor for the manufacturer. NDC code: 51079-0777 Inactive ingredients may includ...

I have been taking Qualitest brand 7.5 325 for cervical stenosis overall back problems and assorted other problems. Here is the thing I am take 1/2 of the 7.5 325, 4 times a day does not take all pain away but helps somewhat, well, CVS just changed to mallinckrodt 7.5 325 and they are not scored. The pharmacist said use a pill splitter, the thing there us, everything I have read on non scored pills regardless of what they are should not be split because you do not know where the medicine is, that is why they score them. Is the mallinckrodt medicine right in the middle as the pharmacist said or is she blowing smoke? ## Hello, Yvonne! How are you? Your pharmacist is correct. The medication is evenly dispersed through the tablets, so you can cut them. The only ones you can't cut are th...

Good morning or afternoon all... Some years ago I was prescribed Oxycodone. Chronic lower back pain and in both legs. Had AFIB...hospitalized for weeks. Then developed blood clots. Asked doc to take me off of Oxycodone. Too strong. Tried Tramadol. Body didn't like it. Tried another. Still issues. Went to Hydrocodone / Acetaminophen 7.5 / 325. Better. Then tried Aurobindo. For me, it is great! 4 years now. No side effects, etc. A few months back Aurobindo was discontinued. Contacted the manufacturer. Might come back again, but who knows when. Anyway, I tried Mallinckrodt... body doesn't like it. Tried Rhodes...not as good for me as Aurobindo. But stuck with Rhodes. Any ideas who might still have Aurobindo? Not CVS, not Walmart, not Walgreens. Or I would try another brand. Suggest...

Have a legitimate prescription for Hydrocodone 5/325 but have been all over Orlando and no pharmacy has them in stock. Have tried them all - Walgreens, CVS, Target, WalMart, etc. Can anyone help? If you know any pharmacy where you've had some success, please be willing to share. I am out tomorrow and am growing anxious and afraid. I don't know what else I can do. ## I was on this med for a while. I went though a period of cant find it also back a couple years ago. Its more than likely a shortage of the medication. Has any of the pharmacy's told you when they will have it? I would call your Dr and let them know what is going on and that you will be out of it. Why they have shortages sometimes...... is just a lack of a certain ingredient. So ask the pharmacy first....... then ...

Our local walgreens is out and they have no idea when they will be getting any in. Tried at least 3 walgreens, 1 kroeger, cvs and no avail. any others having this problem? ## Yes... I'm having this same exact problem, my pharmacy CVS keeps ordering it but it never comes in. They think the companies who make it are having back order issues because of the recent change from CIII's to CII's... I have tried everywhere within driving distance and no one has this... what the heck is going on??? ## Unfortunately, we are having the same issues here in Central Florida. My wife was prescribed hydrocodone for mixed-connective tissue disease and is also recovering from surgery. price paid at walmart pharmacy for 30 hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-300 mg tabs $61.08!!! ## @bushel, From your wording I can't begin to tell if you are excited or angry at the notion of paying $61.08 for 30 tabs. Is this how much a script of 30 generic Vicodin tabs usually goes for at your local pharmacy? There are a number of pharmacy price checkers that can be found on Google if you ever feel the need to compare prices from different pharmacies in your general area. I hope this helps! ## CVS is about $20. Ask for cash discount programs.

I use CVS for all my needs for healthcare. On 03/19/2015 I needed a prescription filled,(Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen) asap my son took the prescription to CVS said can't fill it,out of it. So I said I will take ALEVE (lots) he said no Momma Your really hurting so we will try Walgreens. At first they refused because I am not a customer of WALGREENS, watching me; Pharmacists said just this one time, (90) pills and here it is 04/17/2015 and only 12 pills left. Normally the 90 pills last me for 70 days plus/minus so this was a really bad time for me. So with a new prescription in hand I went to CVS id Deland, FL because I get all my Meds and Personal items there & other items. I discussed with my DR that generics do not work for me and he wrote out a new prescription for Hydrocodone/A...

Wife had prescription for Percocet which was substituted by CVS with a small white oblong pill with A 333 on one side and no identification and no "line" for breaking in two on the other side, but identified on bottle and circular as "10-325". After root canal, pill has been relatively ineffective only overriding pain for about an hour and caused nausea and vomiting when second pill taken 4 very long hours later. After a day of suffering, switched to hydrocodone 7.5-300 at 10am when ineffectiveness of 6am oxycodone 10-325 on second day had wife in tears again. Potency of year old hydrocodone 7.5-300 superior to new oxycodone 10-325. Lack of a line for splitting in two a curious omission since there is a 5-325 dosage available. Question potency and effectiveness of new A ...

Have a dog rescue/shelter & need Tussigon for 6 dogs with heart/trachea/pulmonary hypertension issues & 1 dog with autoimmune pulmonary disease. Have prescriptions. CVS pharmacy can't get Tussigon-told me today to go to other pharmacies. CVS has the best price. Need approximately 260 tablets per month. Hydrocodone/Homatropine doesn't work as well as the blue Tussigon tablet. Have to fight every month and waste hours calling pharmacies. Don't understand why so difficult to obtain. Dogs need med to survive. ## Hi Ellie, I'm so sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, since Tussigon contains hydrocodone, filling the medication anywhere might be tough. an oval shaped pill with v on one side and 3506 on the other side.........any i dea what it is? ## Is the marking possibly 3605 V? If so, then it contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it's a narcotic analgesic that is a generic for Lortab or Vicodin. Learn more Vicodin details here. ## It is a generic vicodin that CVS now provides from its new distributor. It is not as good as the prior white generic as it takes a long time to work, not as strong, and makes you sick that is nauseous. I will not get this again from CVS. I was told via CVS pharmacist that the change was due to price.

My doctor prescribed hydrocodon-acetaminophn 10-325 and CVS filled with generic NORCO. Above details on pills and just trying to confirm Norco. Also, I have found WATSON to be a better quality medicine than all the others. My doctor has no problem in adding WATSON to my scripts. But, CVS where I live does not carry WATSON Does anyone else feel the same about WATSON? ## Yes, the tablet you received does contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Norco. Learn more Norco details here. As to the Watson, if you're a regular customer, they should be able to order it in for you. The issue there, however, is that it will be more expensive than the one they currently carry, so you will pay a higher price, or if you have insurance, you'll have to pay the...

I go to the CVS ON Encinitas blvd. In encinitas. They stock qualitest. It's right off the 5 by 2 blocks. The qualitest is on the FDA diversion list. Go to the CVS stores near you personally and speak ONLY to the pharmacist. Some will order it for you. By phone they ALWAYS say they don't stock it. A lot of work but you have a reliable pharmacy after that. ## This is just a reminder and I'm not sure of the Calif state laws governing Schedule II meds. They may be tighter than Federal Law. But, Norco and all other Hydrocodone Combination meds will be moving to a Schedule II later on this year. That means that the same restrictions that apply to Schedule II meds will also reply to these meds. RIght now, Norco and other hydrocodone combination meds are Schedule III. Schedule II ca...
