this is a prescription I once had. Clear yellow capulse. ## That tells us nothing. Need to know more information, are there any markings on them? ## There are no markings on the small capsule I described for Cough. It worked fantastic. The Dr. who prescribed has died. No one else seems to know what it could be. ## Actually, I think I do know, it is a small, orange or brownish colored gel capsule thing, very tiny with liquid inside. My husband had them awhile ago, it is actually a type of anesthetic that works by numbing to supress your cough. I am hunting for my bottle for the name, as soon as I find it, I will post the name. If so, then I suspect it may contain Benzonatate, they usually meet this description and it is a topical anesthetic used to help prevent severe coughing. No, the nomenclature clearly reads 44 372. Am presuming it is an off batch. ## I also just found this same pill in my daughters backpack. I have NO idea were she got it and was looking for information before she gets home from school to talk to her about it. ## This is a Mucus Relief pill. Acetaminophen 325mg, Guaifenesin 200mg, Dextromethorphan HBr 10mg, Phenylephrine HCl 5mg. Don't worry, if you found this its prob because she was feeling sick and brought some to school to relieve symptoms. From what I've found, these are 200mg Benzonatate gels, it is distantly related to local anesthetics and is used as a cough suppressant. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness and dysphagia. I hav been coughing non-stop for 3months in a row now, to the point that I developed chest pains and sore ribs. The coughing is so bad I can't sleep at night because its non-stop and I even throw up & have to spit all the time, mostly mucus; at first the mucus was clear, now it varies between yellow&green; even had one or two blood stricks in the mucus. My doc couldn't diagnose what the actual problem is but did say its not asthma or TB or bronchitus or pneumonia or cancer & he prescribed clacee500mg with panafcort 5mg. I started with a cold and cough but it has gotten worse. I have sinus pressure, blowing yellow and green stuff, and coughing up yellow and green phlem.
