Hi I've been on 40 mg citalopram for just over 4 weeks now! I still feel totaly depressed and down I also suffer from health anxitiy , at the moment I think I'm going to go mental all over because I no someone that had paraoinde skitofenia (sorry can't spell it) now I think I've got that even tho the doctors have told me I only have deprresion and anixity and stress! Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and sexual dysfunction. As to taking it after pregnancy, the concern there only arises if you are breast feeding, it is excreted in breast milk and side effects have been observed in infants whose mothers were taking it.
