Cefadroxil For Tooth Infection

Can I use cefadroxil in treatment of dental infection post dental procedure? ## Cefadroxil is commonly used as an antibiotic to prevent infection 'before' dental procedures. I'm not certain however about it's use 'post' dental procedure. You may want to confirm that with your doctor if you feel concerned. There's also the option of Amoxicillin, but I personally suggest looking into Clove Essential Oil. It's a natural remedy for dental issues as far as alleviating tooth aches (anaesthetic properties) and fighting infections (antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal properties). Definitely worth looking into if you're on a budget and need something effective. Hope this helps!

Can the antibotic cefadroxil be used to treat a tooth abcess. ## Cefadroxil can in fact be used for dental infections; although amoxicillin and metronidazole are generally used as first line of treatment. Learn More: Cefadroxil Details If you're experiencing a lot of pain, I would also try dabbing the area with Vanilla Extract and/or clove essential oil. Both options tend to have a numbing effecting to where you can't feel the pain while it kills the infection. I hope this helps!

The tooth sensation and pain is most likely being caused by an infection of the nerve endings in your tooth (I've had a similar problem before) and the antibiotics job is to kill the infection- so it should help, but it's impossible to know for certain since medication effects everyone differently.
