Can I Take Zzzquil 3 Hours After

I take one tablet of hydrocodone/apap 5-352 mg, but when I go to bed and wake up in 4 hours I can't get back to sleep. I took 50mg of tramadol 15 hours ago, is it safe to take zzzquil to help me sleep? I dont take the tramadol all too often, only on days when my back pain is really severe and I only take zzzquil when I just can't get to sleep. I know they have moderate interactions when taken together but I'm wondering if this is far enough apart to avoid adverse effects. ## Hello Al, According to the FDA tramadol has a half life of 6 hours, generally it takes between 4 and 6 half lifes to be completely out of your system. Since you are only at the 15 hour mark you would only be at two half life cycles which would be unsafe to take with the zzzquil. Doing some simple math it would be safe to take zzzquil approximately 24 to 36 hours after you had administered the tramadol. Hope this info helps a...

Can I take 1mg Lorazepam and the zzzquil? ## Hello, Bill! How are you? Unless your doctor has said that it's okay for you to do so, I'd suggest sticking with just one or the other. Both the Lorazepam and the Diphenhydramine in the ZzzQuil can cause depression of the central nervous system, so combining them could be dangerous. The Lorazepam causes drowsiness, along with irritability and dizziness, so it may help you sleep without adding anything else. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I took 30ml of zzzquil and then started feeling my anxiety starting in. Can I take my lorazepam 1mg? ## I took one two mg of lorazepam and 6 hours later took Zzzquil. Should l be concerned?

I have been on Viibryd (40 mg) for 6 months and for the last three weeks I have not slept more than one or two hours per night. I do not drink or smoke. My doctor started me off on 15 mg's of melatonin, when that did not work she prescribed Ambien. The Ambien has not worked. I have tried taking Zzzquil, Tylenol PM's and even Benedryl, but nothing at all works. I am frustrated all the time because I can not sleep. I have noticed that the medication is not working anymore, but I expected that the third night that I was not able to sleep. I used to take Oxycodone 15mgs, 5X's a day. After 5 or so years, they stopped working on my pain. My pain management doctor put me on Morphine Sulfate IR 30mgs, 4X's a day. They work great. One problem, I'm up on and off all night. I'm assuming it's the MS IR 30's because I never had a problem with sleep. Does anyone know what I can do to get at least a few hours of straight sleep? ## Maybe try an over the counter sleep aid like zzzquil, unisom, etc or you could try some melatonin and see if that helps.
