just took Bonine for the first time and i feel nautious. wondering if it is an initial effect of Bonine, or maybe because i drank some coffee not too long ago. plus i am getting on a plane and might be a bit nervous. can anybody else share their experiences with Bonine or Dramamine? ## Bonine contains the active ingredient Meclizine, and Dramamine contains the active ingredient Dimenhydrinate, both are used to help treat, or prevent nausea, vomiting, and vertigo. Ref: Bonine Information Ref: Dramamine Information The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including dry mouth, dizziness, drowsiness, and sedation. My best guess is that nausea is due to the coffee, and nerves, rather than the Bonine. Additionally, if you just took it, you wouldn't be feeling the side effects ...

BONN imprint round blue pill plz id this pill ## Hi J, Based on your description, the closest match I'm finding here is a 25mg Bonine (meclizine) tablet, used for treating symptoms of motion sickness (nausea, vomiting, etc). This pill is round and pink, marked with BON | INE on one side and 201 on the other (the line down the center denotes that it's scored). Because the description is somewhat similar, part of me questions whether they could be made by the same manufacturer (Insight Pharmaceuticals/Prestige Brands)... That may be a long shot, but if you want to delve into a deeper investigation, I'd encourage you to contact them directly at prestigebrands.com/contact.html, to see if it's something they make. Hope that helps! Does anyone else recognize this pill?

I was taking a drugstore brand of meclizine, 25 mg non-chewable tablets. It worked great to control my nausea. When I ran out of the non-chewable tablets, I bought chewable Bonine. To my dismay, almost immediately after chewing the Bonine I became nauseated, and the nausea lasted almost 24 hours. To make sure it was not a fluke, I took chewable Bonine the next day and had the same reaction. Then I switched back to the non-chewable tablets and got relief from my nausea. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know why the chewable form of meclizine might cause nausea when the non-chewable form does not? If I swallowed the Bonine tablets instead of chewing them, would I still get nauseated? (I haven't tried this yet.) ## 12 hours after I took the chewable fom of Bonine I also be...
