I was on Bystolic for 4-6 years, until one day my hair started to fall out. For about a week it kept getting worse. I stopped and the Dr gave me Amlodipine Besylate and I looked it up and this stuff is Bad Bad... The 5 most dangerious Blood Pressure Medications... GEEZE doctors just don't give a CRAP. Change Drs? or try and find a Medication that does not make my hair fall out. I am taking Micardis... That alone does NOT make my hair fall out. I've been taking it for about three months. My hair started falling out and now I have to stop taking it. I take other blood pressure meds that don't have that effect. ## Yes, that is a known side effect of this medication, according to FDA reports.
