Therefore, yes, it may cause side effects, such as a slight burning or tingling sensation in the mouth or throat, as well as numbness. ## Every single time I use Bactidol after brushing my teeth before going to bed, when I wake up, there's something under my tongue. I can't explain what it is, but it always make it hard to breathe. EVERY TIME I USE BACTIDOL, THIS IS THE EFFECT and I hate this side effect :( ## What will happen if you swallow it? I accidentally give 2.5ml of hexitidine bactidol to my 2 year old son thought that it was his cough medicine (ambroxol) ## It should not be a major problem, my nephew once (at age 1.5 yrs) consumed a Hypertension control medicine, doc kept him under observation and adviced a stomach wash, it was however not required, he did fine, no immediate or long term problem really arose. ## I accidentaly gave my 3 year old sister a half spoon of bactidol to drink, i mistook it as her medicine. I gave her water.
