Ihave been taking atorvastatain 10 mg since 05/2016 I have sever liquid stools and some I do not make it to the bathroom and I sure you now what happens. is this a side effct and what are the ither side effects. I have been taking atorvastatin 20mg and metfomin for the last 3 weeks. I feel some sort of dizziness almost every day. but not severe. Also I like to eat some grape fruit m maybe 3 - 5 full fruit . I have seen many articles on net say grape fruit will interact with atorvastatin when taken in juice form more than 1 liter a day. I dont know how to determine on this intake. I had a stroke 5 months back, paralyzing my right side. I am now taking Storvas 20mg and undergoing regular physiotherapy. However, now I have shoulder pain, I cant lift up my right arm because of pain in my muscle and the accompanying joint pain. My doctor says I have to take this medication for the rest of my life. My BP is now normal. 110/70. I'm overweight. I still smoke sometimes. Not like before, i used to consume 30 or more sticks per day. I have controlled it. I'm on atorvastatin 20mg but recently 10 mg by doctors advice. I have very normal cholesterol, trigly, sugar etc. all normal. Except this left side chest pain. There are days, but not all the time that this is bothersome. Not really painful but it bothers me every time.

My mother who is 66 years old has diabetes, hypertension, and a cholesterol problem. Her ultrasound scanning shows grade 2 renal parenchyma changes. My mother takes human mixtard insulin, metolar 25mg, cilacar 20mg, angispan tr 2.5, gabaneuron 100, pantop 40 and atorvastatin 20mg. Are there any side effects associated with these medications?
