Have you had an exam or any testing done? If it is arthritis, there are products that can help with the pain and inflammation, such as the Icy Hot you mentioned, but there is no cure for it. I have been on Phentermine for a couple years and have noticed after eating my face gets hot and flushed. I have been tested for lupus along with other autoimmune diseases. The only one that came back a little high was rheumatoid arthritis. I stopped taking it and everything seemed to go back to normal. I had stopped for a month and a half. I started again and within 3 days my face was back to getting flushed and hot after meals. I could eat something as simple as a salad and it would happen. I took one of these Zomax in 1981 at the age of 19. I immediately became hot and passed out. By the time,my parents got me to the ER, I only had a pulse under my tongue. They had to shock me. I was obviously ok, however, they told me to never ever take another NSAID (anti-inflammatory) again. Now later in life, I need some NSAIDS for arthritis. Has anyone else who had a reaction taken any other types of these drugs since then? I have 3 herniated discs in neck and back and bulging discs. Also arthritis in my whole spine. Also, neuropathy in my feet. I'm almost 70. I have been taking 20mg Percocet 8am and 10 - 15mg at 3-4pm. What should I expect, if I continue as I am? Hello, I have taken 10/325 Percocet for over 12 years now. Up until I was in my 3rd car accident recently, I got by with 30 pills every 3-4 months. After, my MRI showed 3 herniated discs-2 in neck 1 in lower back and rather extreme arthritis in my whole spine. I got to where I could not do much more than sit in a chair with ice / hot packs for a month or so, but was still afraid of addiction, so I just took 1 10/325 in the am and 1 at about 4:30pm. Then, my family Dr sent me to a pain doctor and he put me on 2 - 10/325 am and 1- 1 1/2 at around 3-4pm and more at night, if needed. I get by with the above schedule and don't take any at night-just 2 times a day. My question is: Taking these every day now for 9 months, I would assume I would have an addiction? How does that work? Started on Cipro for a week than Dr. switched me to mono/mac 100mg. I have been headachy.. bad and burning up like such hot flashes in the night I took ice bags to hold in my arms to cool me down. I feel twittery and shaky . Dr. office gave me a cortesoid shot thinking it would help my continuing headache (which it did). But the tired weakness along with the terrible heat-burning flashes all night. It is daylight now and I don't feel the consumed heat problem.
