My doctor prescribed me this medicine for my sicknes named Bells Palsy so I took da prescription to da pharmacy.the pharmacist advised me to take 12 tablets by mouth once daily for 7 days. Tablet name is Apo-Prednisone 5mg Prednisone 5mg I just wanted to know if its safe to take so many tablets together ## You should take the medication as directed by your doctor. What is the best time to take my 6 pills, i know i have to take it with food but should i take it first thing in the morning or wait till supper time. I see one side affect is trouble sleeping, so wondering if that can be avoided by when i take it. Also he has me taking it for 14 days at the same dose. I read you need to slowly go off this drug. Is that true for 14 days? ## Hello, Sue! How are you? Taking them in the morning is usually best, to try to minimize the insomnia and restlessness at night. From what I've researched anything less than 3 weeks usually doesn't need to be tapered, but you should check with your doctor to be sure. My doctor started me on apo-prednisone 5mg for a rash all over my body and scalp. My plan is to start with 10 pills then taper by one pill every second day down to zero! I have been given the above tablets by my doctor for a possible allergic reaction to triamcinolone wwhich was prescribed for oral lichen planus. dosage is 4 tablets twice daily after a meal for five days. It has certainly helped. but are there any possible side effects?

I have a Doberman rescue that is in severe pain due to a bone lesion from a injury from abuse, although it could possible be cancer, but the specialist thinks otherwise. We put a 100 mec/hour patch on yesterday at 2:00 pm. This is his first patch, and he is still in pain 30 hrs later. It has made no difference. He will have to be put to sleep if this is not working, as this was our last hope. He weighs 72.3 lbs and we placed the patch on the shaven neck area.
