has inflammation of the facial trigeminal nerve. is there medicine for this ## Hi clif, To my knowledge there are medications for nerve pain. However, I'm not sure whether or not they are specifically geared towards this particular facial condition. From what I've seen, Gabapentin or Lyrica are usually the general medications recommended by doctors for these types of conditions. Some people also suggest supplementing with a Vitamin B -Complex, as well as Turmeric, and Omega 3 fatty acids (DHA) for increased efficacy. I get gout. Whats better for keeping it down, naproxen 500mg or indomethacin 50mg? Also how much % of antinflamatory is in the naproxen 500mg? ## Because both of these medications are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), their effectiveness is going to depend upon a comparable dosage to one-another as well as the way your body responds to each medication. Personally, I would look into natural remedies (such as essential oils) as a treatment option, simply due to the fact that there are little or no side effects in comparison to pharmaceutical drugs. As to how much % of anti-inflamatory is in the Naproxen, I don't have an answer to that. Have you tried either of those medications yet to see how well each one helps?
