is tramadol tan capsule an617 the same as white one 334 my hemorrhoids are bleeding could this be why? ## Hello, Phyllis! How are you? These both contain 37.5mgs of Tramadol with 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they have just been manufactured by different companies, which is very common with generics. The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If the medication has caused constipation and you're straining to have a bowel movement, that may cause your hemorrhoids to become irritated and result in some bleeding, the same if your stool is just harder than usual. Have you had this checked out, yet?

Ultram Tramadol

Tramadol, sold under the brand name Ultram among others,[1] is an opioid pain medication used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain.[3] When taken by mouth in an immediate-release formulation, the onset of pain relief usually begins within an hour.[3] It is also available by injection.[10] It may be sold in combination with paracetamol (acetaminophen) or as longer-acting formulations.[3][10] ...

Tramadol is a good medication especially for arthritis, and I can tell you this works better then many of the other medications which have a variety of side effects, and are more costly. I have a plate, and screws in one hand, as well as neuropothy in both of my legs, and tramadol helps with the pain. I could care less if they don't want to prescribe pain killers, because the tramadol are just as effective, and are cheaper. The Dr has now given me grief when prescribing me the tramadol because of the DEA, are you kidding me? What is troubling is somewhere along the line, they have forgotten about the quality of care, and relief some medications provide. Its not like I am asking for Oxy, or other strong narcotics, so what is the problem? The Dr. of course wants someone like me, 61yr ...

this is to be taken every 6 hrs.it is hlc/ap 37.5mgshpuld i take a low dose aspirn with it i have had open heart surgery. ## Have you consulted your doctor? They are really the only person that is qualified to tell you if Aspirin is safe and appropriate for you to take. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so there are some heart conditions for which it is contraindicated.

I take 1 tramol 100 once a week before a round of golf. I swear by it to leave me unexhuasted after 18 holes in temperatures where I live usually up in the high 80's. I very occasionally take a 50 mg if I'm expectiing a long hard day doing other activities but I limit my use because I don't want to become immune to the effect. They last about 12-14 hours at least. I,m in my 70's and am usually fresher after my game than most of my much younger friends. Good luck if you give it a try let me know if it works for you (remember limit your use to no more than twice a week

Yesterday I found out from my doctor that I will no longer be able to get refills on the only drug that I have found that works to relieve arthritis pain that has no side affects for me. I am in the process of composing a letter my congressman to express my displeasure with the DEA's decision to make Tramadol a controlled substance with no expectations of anything but lip service in response. It seems to me that the government agency that is in charge of keeping illegal drugs from entering our country and apparently can't make a dent in that, has chosen a lot easier target, older Americans with Arthritis . I encourage everyone that is in the same situation as I am to contact your congressional representatives and demand that they reel in a agency that seems to think that everyth...

I have been on norco 7.5 for two years now. I have severe arthritis in both knees. I take one right before I go to work. I stock shelves at night, at a supermarket. It helps me get through my shift. My doctor retired; and now I have a new doctor. He has me on 50 mg on Tramadol. It's not the same. I'm in more pain now, then I was before. The drug isn't working the same. I have not abused hydrocodone. What do I need to do to convince my new doctor, that Norco is working, and I'm not abusing the pain medication? Any new ideas? please help. ## Hi John, I always say honesty is the best approach and speak from the heart, but whether or not the doctor accepts your message as truth is something that's out of everyone else's control and therefore I don't think it'...

Does 50mg of tramadol potentiate 20mg hydro (2 10's) ## Hello Badkitty! How are you? No, they are not known to potentiate each other. According to the FDA, substances that may potentiate a narcotic include medications, such as Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen and Aspirin. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Can you take tramadol along with ativan? ## They shouldn't be used together, unless your doctor has specifically instructed you to do so and is monitoring your condition. They both cause CNS depression and combining them can have a synergistic effect, making it even worse. Are there ay questions or comments?

I too have increased energy and cheerfulness with a single 50 mg Tramadol. When I don't take it for a day I am very lethargic and ache. I try not to take it more than a few days in a row. The doctor is surprised at the side effects. Thank you to those who shared a similar experience. I had been wondering if this was my imagination. I hope to stay off it several days to see if my usual energy returns as it did eventually the last time I didn't take it for several days. It's a great mild pain reliever, but the mood alteration concerns me. ## Hi, Suellen! How are you? The classification for Tramadol has changed several times over the years, right now it is once again classified as an opioid and they can cause increased energy and euphoria in some people that take them. That...

I have been taking tramadol for a bad back for about two years. Only 1 tablet each AM I am going to Spain in two weeks am I apt to have any problems by having this medication with me. I also have 4 other drugs for diabetes. We do travel a lot and have never had a problem but am concerned that the status of this drug seems to have changed. ## Hello, Morey! How are you? You shouldn't have a problem, but I'd suggest making sure that you don't carry more than you need, keep it in the original marked bottle and get a med sheet from your doctor. It will list each medication, the dosing and why it's needed, just in case customs asks questions. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have reads that a person who was on Tramadol for 8 or 10 years and as a result, had to take 8 of the 50 mg tablets of Tramadol daily to get results. His Dr. decided to give him a derivative of the drug for a few months to help irradiate the tolerance that had developed from taking the Tramadol for so long. After using the new drug for 6 months or a year. ( Cant remember the details. the article was a few years back) or a year, he switched back to the Tramadol and needed only 200 mg Daily. I can't seem to find any more info on this any more but would be interested in cleaning out and starting anew with the Tramadol. ## Hello, John! How are you? This is known to work for some people and some doctors do recommend 'med vacations' to help something retain or regain efficacy. Th...

Is there any tramadol that contains codeine? I was given a white oblong capsule and was told it was tramadol with codeine... ## No, Tramadol is an opioid narcotic that is actually stronger than Codeine. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and dizziness. What are the markings on the tablet? That is what would enable me to double check the active ingredients for you. Can you please post back with more details? Thanks!

I took 50mg of tramadol 15 hours ago, is it safe to take zzzquil to help me sleep? I dont take the tramadol all too often, only on days when my back pain is really severe and I only take zzzquil when I just can't get to sleep. I know they have moderate interactions when taken together but I'm wondering if this is far enough apart to avoid adverse effects. ## Hello Al, According to the FDA tramadol has a half life of 6 hours, generally it takes between 4 and 6 half lifes to be completely out of your system. Since you are only at the 15 hour mark you would only be at two half life cycles which would be unsafe to take with the zzzquil. Doing some simple math it would be safe to take zzzquil approximately 24 to 36 hours after you had administered the tramadol. Hope this info helps a...

I'm looking for a doctor in nh that is willing to prescribe me tramadol for my anxiety. I'm not some kind of pill junky, and am willing to have pills counted monthly to show I'm not abusing. I have found this to be a very effective way of dealing with life's daily anxietys. Just need a doctor that is willing to hear me out ## Hello, Kellen! How are you? Since Tramadol is an opiate analgesic, it's going to be difficult to find a doctor that will prescribe it for anxiety. It's not approved to treat such a condition and their prescribing practices are very closely monitored. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You'll most likely ne...
