What is the difference between the Percocet M's and V's and the K9's? I know Percocets dont come in 30mg even though everyone refers to them as that. I am just curious as to the difference between them or is it just the companies that make them put differnt markings on them? ## Yes, Percocet contains both Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and they are only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. The ones you are referring to just contain Oxycodone, in a regular release formulation, so they would be a generic for Roxicodone and you are also correct on what the difference is, they are just manufactured by different companies. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Officially, there is no difference between them. The different markings are different drug manufactur...

I found it in my car and someone said it was a percocet! ## Hello, Bob! How are you? Is it a white, oblong tablet? If so, it is manufactured by Pack Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Ciprofloxacin, which is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. ## Rxp is percocet Rxp 500 on One side and a line on the other side Dupont.. Mcniel ## It's neither Percocet or antibiotic. I took a couple out of my b/f's bottle last week and put them in the drawer. I came across this question because I couldn't remember if it was a generic ibuprofen or acetaminophen and looked it up. Couldn't find the answer...

Pictures of the different types of Endocets or Percocets. ## Since there are generics on the market, as well as the name brands, there are far too many for me to possibly post images or details for all of them. However, some examples of the markings, with their descriptions in that dosage are: Oval, white, with marking IP206 Oval, white, with marking 108 And there are several others, as well, so this isn't a comprehensive list. Do either of these match the pills you are questioning? ## I have a pill I was told was percocet 10 its white oblong with A333 on one side and nothing on the other is this true??

Have a bottle of Percs for emergency. Tweaked my back and was going to take 2. Cannot read the expiration label (worn out) just wanted to know what signs of expired meds are. They are extremely powdery and look battered down. Is super chalky and powdery a good sign its too old to do anything or is that irrelevant? ## Dear Rick, usually a prescription is good 4 one year from the date u got it. But u said u couldn't read it. And, by the way u described the condition of them, I wouldn't take the chance. Medications can still be ok after 1 year, but, they lose their potency . Doese percocet have the number g on one end and 5027 on the other end. And on another pill in the same bottle it has IP102 is these the same pills ## They are the same medication, but neither are Percocet or any other narcotic. The tablets in question both contain 300mgs of Gabapentin, which is an anticonvulsant that's also used to treat certain types of nerve pain. Learn more Gabapentin details here. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, weight gain and mood swings. This will also not work like regular analgesics, it must be taken regularly for 4 to 6 weeks, before you will see much benefit if it's going to work for you. Is there anything else I can help with?

Can anyone tell me what to look forward to when I go to management for the first time. I have advanced osteoporosis with frequent fractures and now my spine is compromised. I've been on norco,10 mg for 7 years and recently was changed to perco cent 10 mgs but I cannot tolerate then. What is a good med to replace it. I refuse to have spinal shots. ## What types of issues did you experience with the Percocet? The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. There is a form of Hydrocodone, which is the active opiate in Norco that is available in a time released formulation. The name brand is Zohydro, so if it worked well for you, you may want to ask your new doctor about trying it.

I'm prescribed 10 mg Oxycodone for chronic pain and have taken them for about four years. This month I've had several bouts of GI issues, with fever, vomiting and diarrhea. The pills aggravated the nausea and vomiting, so I stopped taking them and tried to get by on Tylenol and Advil. I called the nurse to report that I was not taking the meds and why. Instinct tells me I should report to them anytime there is a situation which would impact my drug panel. By the second day, I identified different types of pains, separate from the illness I was experiencing. It finally dawned on me that it could be withdrawal symptoms (I've never experienced anything like this!) I resumed taking the Oxycodone, even if I knew I was going to throw up. I hoped that enough would stay to make thos...

What meds can I take for burning stomach pain Dr got me on percose what you think ## Hi I am on stomach pills I have pain etc,my doc put me on Reva Rabeprazole 20 mg let me tell ya it like a magic pill really help don't think it a pain pill ## Percocet is classified by the FDA as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It can help with stomach pain, but will not treat whatever the underlying problem is that is causing the stomach pain, such as acid reflux, an ulcer or gastritis. If one of those is causing it, then you need a medication, such as what Cricket has mentioned. Rabeprazole is used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to allow those types...

I take percocet for dental issues and Fibromalgia. Normally this medication gets rid of my pain. However, I can tell this brand is not as effective. is vicodin be taken off the market in January 2014 ## Hi Tommie, From what I've read, the only thing that's changing as of 2014 is the amount of Acetaminophen that they put into those types of medications (i.e. Norco, Vicodin, Percocet, etc..) The new maximum allowed dose is supposed to be 325mgs, due to an increased risk of liver toxicity. In my opinion, if something is really that toxic to your liver, we probably shouldn't be taking it anyways in any quantity. There are plenty of other anti-inflammatory options on the market (both natural and prescription) that are considered to be much safer than Acetaminophen in that regard. I hope this info helps to answer your question!
