All Normal Blood Values
8 Topics FoundIn October 2016 my Iron was a 8 and my Ferratin was a 4. Was given two 15 minute sessions of Injectafer. Each infusion I had common side effects which led me to taking Benadryl to help cope for a couple days after. A little over a week from my last infusion, Nov. 28th, my iron was raised to a 10 and my ferratin is well. However, from October to November my alkaline phosphatase levels went through the roof (was just informed this nearly a month after my last infusion). I was told it's 3x its normal values. My doctor is very concerned and is giving me a mass of tests, told me to stop taking all my vitamins (I had GBS 7 yrs ago and suffer from Vitamin A & D deficiency) until this is resolved. However, upon reading, raised blood alkaline phosphatase can be caused in >.1% of pati...
Respiratory failure is inadequate gas exchange by the respiratory system, with the result that levels of arterial oxygen, carbon dioxide or both cannot be maintained within their normal ranges. A drop in blood oxygenation is known as hypoxemia; a rise in arterial carbon dioxide levels is called hypercapnia. The normal reference values are: oxygen PaO2 greater than 80mmHg (11kPa), and carbon dioxide PaCO2 less than 45mmHg (6.0kPa). Classification into type I or type II relates to the absence o...

Does Azithral 500 have any effect on the CBC? I have taken 5 tablets ( one a day for 5 days) together with Zanocin 200 (14 tablets --2 tablets/day for seven days) at the same time. I have polycythemia vera (JAK 2 test negative) and normally my Haemetocrit & haemoglobin values are high. However, when taking a blood test 2 days after finishing the Zanocin & Azithral tablets the results showed normal levels HG 12.2 & Haemetocrit 41
I have had tachycardia and high bp for a week now. I went to the ER cause my resting HR got it 146. My normal values are 120/78 and HR low 70s. In the past week my hr has been between 90-100. I'll even wake up at night with HR bring 100. I can't even stand up without it spiking my HR. I had quite a few blood tests, EKG, echocardiogram and holter monitor and everything has come back fine. In 24 and healthy.... I've have never ever has and heart issues before. My GP gave me 5mg of bystolic to get my HR down til we figure it out. I've also stopped my newer BC pill that I started a little over two months ago to see if that caused the high bp? If I develop any bad side effects from this, because it's a low dose can I just stop taking it? ## BC pills can cause these types ...

Cannot vet a clesr answer on this blood test. ## Hello, Stephanie! How are you? Creatinine, as explained by the NIH, is a chemical in the blood that is used to check how well your kidneys are functioning. An elevated level can indicate that kidney function is compromised. Most doctors will check to keep an eye on kidney function, if someone is diabetic or taking medications for high blood pressure. Is there anything else I can help with? ## She was on bactrim antibiotic when she had teat done. Could that have raised creatinine? Is 2.89 really high? ## Bactrim did that to me once, too. It tends to cause some dehydration and such. Ideally, they should check again, in about 3 weeks to a month to see if it returns to normal. ## Oh and the values can vary from person to person. It depends on...
