This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. On a side note, there are moderately unsafe interactions found between Adderall XR and alcohol: "Alcohol may potentiate the cardiovascular effects of amphetamines." My wife's has COPD And is taking Norpace for heart rythm. Is there a conflict? ## Yes, there is actually. Combining these two medications can increase the risk of prolongation of the QT interval, cardiac arrhythmias and elevated blood potassium. That said, yes, albuterol has been known to do so, due to the fact that it contains a methyl group substance, which is something breathalyzers sense.
