After Teeth Removal Medicine

I have had six teeth removed from my upper mouth and am suffering pain. My dentist said to take Paracetamol and Ibruprofen alternately but not a lot of good. My Doctor says Enantyum 25. Is this a good idea? ## Hi Justian, it sounds like the medications which your doctor is recommending are not very strong for severe pain. Rather, they are intended to be mild to moderate pain relievers, so it does sound in lie with getting some teeth removed. Enantyum is reported to contain the active ingredient Dexketoprofen, which is also an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), in the same class of medications as Paracetamol and Ibuprofen. My daughter has prescription Penicillin 500mg for every 6 hours after wisdom teeth removal. How many times/day does she to take? Are the intervals for awake times only or for 24 hrs? ## Hi Cindy! If your daughter is prescribed to take every 6 hours, she needs to take 4 pills a day. Sometimes, you need to wake up during the night to take them. What am I supposed to do if I accidentally took my antibiotics 4 hours too early? I must take it every 8 hours, but I accidentally took my dose after 4 hours and just realized it... I have been taking fosamax for a couple of years with the most devastating results. My Teeth have been breaking off on a regular basis the dental hospital are very nervous about removing my Teeth as they fear my jaw could break as a result of osteonecrosis. Also, I have just had a barium swallow for my enlarged glans in my throat where for the past 6 weeks I have lost my ability to speak after awakening at 8am exactly 12hrs later. The mental anguish is extreme and the dental surgery costs will be astronomical if my jaw can stand up to teeth removal without breaking.
