I am suffering from fatty liver. My SGPT (ALT) is 295 now. Doctor prescribed me NUSAM 400. I want to know how good it is and regarding side effect. I am suffering from GOUT due to uric acid. every year it occurs twice ie after 6 months regularly from last 5 years. generally it use to be for 4-7 days, but this time it has attacked more than a month. Along with endocap SR, doctor has prescribed me NUSAM 400. Does it have any side effect if I take these medicines for more than a month? I have got fatty and enlarged liver. I was alcoholic since last 10 years. My daily consumption was 6 to 7 pegs. I have stopped taking alcohol since last 2 years. Recently due to some other problem I am under the treatment of a famous gastroenterologist in Kolkata. He has prescribed me NUSAM 400 Mg 1 tab thrice daily along with other medicines (tab Razo 20 mg, Pentasa 500 mg etc.). Now I want to know the following: 1) How long I have to take NUSAM 400? 2) Is there any side effect of NUSAM 400?
