I recently got the pink round 30 mg tablets and I find they make me tense up a lot more... sore muscles, shaky, hard to get motivated because I'm so distracted from the negative side effects... The only way I like this brand is if I take a Benzo with them to counteract. ## Hi, I think because there is a shortage right now, they are giving out corr brand vs teva(the orange ovals). The only thing I DO like about the pink ones is that they work super fast, like in 10-15 min, where the orange ones take around 45-1 hr. But yes the pink ones are a bit ruff. ## From what I could gather, it looks like the only differences between these two medications are found within the list of inactive ingredients. I went ahead and posted the list for each tablet so you can see for yourself what changes ...
Hi, I have recently moved back to the new orleans area and need a doctor who liberally prescribes adderall. Any suggestions in the new orleans/metarie/ westbank area would be great. Thanks in advance ## Adderall is typically prescribed by psychiatrists and pediatricians, while general practitioners typically prescribe the medication for certain off-label uses. That said, I would consider finding psychiatrists and/or pediatricians in your area as opposed to a regular medical doctor. Reason being is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and many general physicians are reluctant to prescribe controlled substances due to abuse and the heavy regulations that they have to abide by from the government. I know this isn't a direct answer to your ...
trying to find a doctor who will prescribe easily in NJ, who wont ask any questions ## Hi lexie, To my knowledge, virtually any type of doctor can see you for ADHD (pediatrician, psychiatrist, regular MD). Whether or not they want to pursue treatment is up to them and if so they might go for another medication rather than Adderall. Chances are if you walk in and say you have ADHD, then ask for an Adderall script you won't get it because it is seen as what they call "drug seeking behavior". Also, you can't expect them to not ask any questions, because that is essentially part of their job in making sure they give you the right medication and aren't just handing it over to someone who only wants to abuse it. Depending on your approach, I'm sure Adderall will remain...
Adderall and Mydayis[4] are trade names[note 2] for a combination drug called mixed amphetamine salts containing four salts of amphetamine. The mixture is composed of equal parts racemic amphetamine and dextroamphetamine, which produces a (3:1) ratio between dextroamphetamine and levoamphetamine, the two enantiomers of amphetamine. Both enantiomers are stimulants, but differ enough to give Adderall an effects profile distinct from those of racemic amphetamine o...
Why is it bad to flush pills in toilet would it hurt our environment ## Hello, Ran! How are you? Environmental contamination. Waste water is purified and reused, but it's been found that prescriptions drugs tend not to be removed by current purification methods, so we end up with them still being in our tap water. The preferred current disposal method is to mix them with some undesirable substance, such as used coffee grounds or dirty kitty litter, place the mess into a sealed container, such as a coffee can and then dispose of it with your regular garbage. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have been prescribed Adderal EX 3;20mg a day for ADD) I also took Lortab 5-500 every 4 hours for pain, I take prozac 40 mg, bupropionHCL 300mg, levothyroxine 25 MCG, Estratest full strength. pain releiver lollipop for mouth sores, I might have also taken 2 Extra strength Excedrine. could this combo cause me to pass out and have no pupil response and disorientation? ## The symptoms you described can be symptoms of an overdose, and that might be what occurred if you took all of these medications very close together. Ref: Overdose Symptoms Even when everything you take has been prescribed for you, it is still possible to just end up taking too many medications at once, since they can all cause side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, lowered heart rate, and lowered breath rate. What ...
I have recently started taking adderall 10mg IR. I was wondering how long the side affects last? I think it may make my anxiety a little worse, but it's like a belly ache anxiety not like my regular paranoid anxiety. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or input. My doctor started me on the IR to see how my body reacts to it and then said we could try the XR if I didn't want to eventually have to take multiple doses. ## The side effects may last about 4 to 5 weeks, until your body gets used to the medication, according to FDA reports. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, nervousness, insomnia, and anorexia. Are you on any other medications? How many times are you taking it each day? ## I too was recently prescribed Adderall IR 10MG. I've b...
How does everyone find the Extended Release (XR, ER) version of Adderall to work when compared to the Immediate Release (IR)? ## Adderall XR, maybe I got a bad generic but it's crap, it does not reveal in your system. I hate all XR meds they are awful. My doctor put me on reg Adderall and the quality is night and day, reg last 4 hours that's okay. I take another one, and get the same quality. The xr is weak and seems to last a shorter time than the IR. Everybody is different I know, and I'm no doctor, so take what your prescribed, and please do not abuse drugs, take it like its prescribed. It works trust me. You might have to wait 15 to 25 minutes but you will feel better about yourself. God bless. ## This is a stimulant that is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcoleps...
I'm from Texas and I'm wondering if any of you guys have been notified by your PCP about the new triplicate policy? My PCP's office notified me that I have to go in each month for me to get my prescription instead of every 4th refill and I also have to pay whatever amount I pay for co-pay+tripcate and on top of that I'm required to do monthly EKGs. Has anyone heard of such new policy for 2016? I called another office to make an appointment and I was also informed that I have to visit every month to get a refill prescription. ## Don't know about Texas, but in NJ I have to physically do to my Dr. Office every month to pickup the script. I do not necessarily have to visit, just pick it up at the front desk. Although I was told I would need to visit every 3 months, and t...
i am trying to identify a small light blue pill with N008 on one side and a score in the middle of the other side. I was told that it is a 20mg Adderall. I have seen blue Adderall but they are 10mg. ## Hello, Stephanie! How are you? The round, blue tablet with the N008 marking actually contains 20mgs of Propranolol, which is a beta blocker that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure, certain cardiac conditions and some migraines. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, hypotension and dry cough. Is there anything else I can help with? ## d amphetamine combo salts and name brands are SO effective at 20mg. Generic Adderall and brand names are "Orange book's" - 99.5% in efficacy. SHIRES Adderall is still superior. But the generic versi...
I agree with you all in the difference between the peach oval generic pills vs. the orange round generic pills. The oval ones - I stay focused throughout the day at my job with almost no side effects. Recently, my normal pharmacy who I have picked my prescriptions up from for the 7 years switched to the round orange ones. Assuming they were the "same", I took them. The first day I already could notice a HUGE difference! My biggest complaint was the headaches! Not to mention very irritable, fatigue, weakness. I am not sure what the difference is in these two pharmaceutical companies BUT something is not right with those orange round ones. ## There can be some slight fluctuations in generic medications, they are actually allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or ...
I was taking adderall 10 mg by mouth 3 times a day. Manufactured by Teva. I can't find it at local pharmacy. Anyone know how I can get my medication? ## Hi Shery, I went onto Teva's manufacturer webpage and found a photo of their 10mg Adderall pill (just scroll down a bit): I'm thinking you can simply email the company (using the contact link on their website) and ask them about the pill's availability in your area. Generally, if it is not available, the pharmacy can have it shipped there for your prescription or they can provide you with a different brand/generic of the same drug. Studies show that there are no differences in the quality or effectiveness of generic drugs vs brand name drugs. For more info on this comparison, you can visit the link below: Please post bac...
I have been prescribed Adderal EX 3;20mg a day for ADD) I also took Lortab 5-500 every 4 hours for pain, I take prozac 40 mg, bupropionHCL 300mg, levothyroxine 25 MCG, Estratest full strength. pain releiver lollipop for mouth sores, I might have also taken 2 Extra strength Excedrine. could this combo cause me to pass out and have no pupil response and extreme disorientation? ## Did this happen to you? Is your doctor aware that you are taking all of these medications? I can't check the pain reliever lollipop, without knowing exactly what it contains. However, on the other medications listed, there are several possible interactions that can occur, for instance the Adderall taken with the Bupropion can cause seizures, due to the additive effects of taking them both at the same time. Ta...
blue square, 2.5 ## There is no 2.5mg Adderall available in the U.S. The minimum dosage is 5mgs (NDC 0555-0762 for details.) What are the markings on the tablet in question? Can you please post back with them? If so, I will be happy to research this tablet for you. The FDA warns that Adderall carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, irritability, nervousness, weight loss, and anorexia.
Just moved to santa ana orange county area. Seeking doctor who will prescribe me adderall ## Hello, Sunny! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. And due to the new regulations that have been put in place, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist, so a psychiatrist would be required. The best thing to do might be to set yourself up with a new PCP and then have them refer you to someone that can help. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, nervousness, anorexia, weight loss and insomnia.
Why are so many responders referring to Adderall as Speed? From my understanding, speed is a methamphetamine? Just wondering because I am considering Adderall as a possible alternative to Ritalin but don't want to take Speed! ## Adderall contains Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine, both of which are stimulants, just different from the ones in Ritalin. It is not specifically Adderall that is considered Speed by abusers, but any stimulant drug, including Ritalin. ## Having been diagnosed with adult add in '81, I can tell you ALL C-11 Stimulants are called speed on the streets. The way it was explained to me is that methamphetamine lasts longer and is the strongest of all the amphetamines. I have also read that a person that has used any of these drugs for an extended period of time...
does brand adderrall, 20mg contain fillers? ## Yes, all tablets are going to contain one or more fillers/inactive ingredients. The inactive ingredients are listed as lacitol,, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide colloidal and magnesium stearate. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, irritability, anorexia and insomnia. Is there anything else I can help with?
I need input from anyone on how to store generic Adderall. Lately I've had big problems with their longevity and am not getting much help from the pharmacist or drug information which says to keep it within room temperature. The present mfg CorePharma are horrible in this respect. Any suggestions for other storage bottles or if it can be stored in the refrigerator? ## I found that it's best to keep Adderall in a max of 77 degrees, but can store up to 86 degrees, although that was before the mfg issues imo at CorePharma. Epic Pharma now has the ANDA to mfg it but won’t be making a new product until October or November. In the meantime still selling Corpharma. Call Epic customer service and report your problems. The more complaints the better. (all complaints to CorePharma a...
Okay here's my story and it will shock you, my first script of Adderall genetic was Corp pharma, I hated it, I was like this stuff is like doing absolutely Nata, so I went through the motions, I googled it and it led here and there and the general consensus was it sucked but the worst is Aurolife, so I was like well at least I did not get that, the general consensus was sandoz is the absolute best, so I was hoping, and I heard Teva wasn't bad, so month two I went and got Teva, I was pumped, so glad they did not give me Corp again and so glad they did not give me Aurolife, so I took Teva and said yea they are better than Corp, but sadly it did not last long, after two days I was taking two to do anything, then another two to close it out for the day, still didn't do nothing, ...
