Adderall Cvs

My 11 y/o is on Adderall and when I went to CVS the other day, was told they don't have any. I have called two other pharmacies to find out they don't have it either. This happened a couple of years ago and we couldn't get any for weeks. It seems there is no recourse or way around this problem, and it is shocking that no one (Dr, pharmacy, pharmaceuticals) seems to be in touch with this issue of how it affects the patient when all of a sudden they do not have their medication. The body should be weaned slowly and an abrupt discontinuation can really affect the patient. We try to not give him Adderall one or two days over weekends whenever possible, and then store the extra. In our case, we are lucky at this time that we have some back-up! I am a male 45 years old and psychiatrist diagnosed me with ADD. It took me years and years to finally admit I had an issue so I looked for a psychiatrist. She started me on Vynase and worked my way up to 50mg, I did last long for me so the other day she switched me to Adderall 30mg. I picked it up this morning and was a generic brand and on the orange capsule says R3061. I took one at 730 this morning and did not feel anything except a couple hours later very lethargic. I know I was not suppose to take another one but I did and did not feel anything. I called the cvs phamasist to ask if there is a difference between the brand name and the generic I am on based on what I have read here and other places and his response was I would have the same reaction if I was on the brand or generic....

round pink with cor 135 ## none ## Round pink pill with cor 135 on one side and a crossed score mark on the other is generic for Adderall 20 mg. ## I heard cora Pharm discontinued their pink 30's and 20's I think maybe they closed And in Massachusetts at least for a little while CVS still carried them but not now any advice Pink ones work for me much better than the.orange ones

In November, My dr. gave me two prescriptions for adderall. One for December, and one for January. My January one is dated the 15th, but I am going out of the country on the 13th. Would CVS be able to fill my prescription 3 days early? Otherwise, I would run out while in Mexico. The worst. Don't get it filled ## 100% agreed!!!! I have been on Adderall generic IR since January 2014. Always filled @ CVS. All previous scripts were manufactured by TEVA. (Large football shaped, orange, sweet tasting & 30mg.) They worked great!!!! Until this past Wednesday (Aug 19th, 2014) I went to pick up my script as usual and didn't think anything of it until the next morning when I had to take one. It wasn't the same shape or taste. (This one was round, orange and a chalky bitter taste.) So I took my usual dosage and Bam Nothing happened, I was like WTF!!!! I had no idea there could be a difference between the different colors of generic adderall. This explains why I find the pink ones less effective than the orange. Does anyone know which generic manufacturer CVS commonly has in stock for both IR and XR Adderall (Amphetamine Salts)? I know they used to carry Mylan for the IR and it's awful. They also used to carry Actavis for the XR which is also terrible, but I don't have many pharmacy choices with my insurance.. and I'm nervous that I'm going to get stuck with Actavis/Mylan... if anyone has any info I'd appreciate it. I have been on generic IR adderall with my first being Teva. I could not take that at all! I tried the 10 mg and 20 mg's and it made me so nervous and jittery that I had to take a nerve pill and go to sleep. Then CVS gave me another generic version but I can't remember the name. It didn't make me nervous but it also didn't really give me any effects at all. So I just happened to find 20 mg Sandoz generic. Those were the best generic for me by far! Sandoz is the best generic ir adderall I've used. August 11, 2017 I was told by the pharmacist they no longer produce this product. I asked if brand name was available and was told yes. When I received them I noticed they were made by Teva and let me tell you they are awful. I don't know what to do if I can't find a decent generic brand. ## Activis (spell check?) is pretty good. Got prescription filled at a CVS and I was given the Actavis blue capsule 3060 (previously i had Teva and before I had the brand). The Actavis medicine was not only inefficient but It actually made me sick... I got a day-long irritating and unpleasant motion sickness like feeling. At least I know that this only happens once, next time sure I will ask. ## Hello, Soyla! How are you? What do you mean by saying that it was inefficient? This is a time released formulation, so you shouldn't feel some definitive effect of it all at once. ## It does not work because the active ingredient in the Activis brand genetic doesn't have the same active ingredient as Adderal. Camber's new generic for Adderall IR 15mg is no good. Prior to it I got 10mg Adderall from CVS and it worked great! Just got a fill from Kroger since CVS was out of stock. The brand is from Camber and not only does it not work, it makes me feel unwell, sleepy and super irritated. It’s crazy how companies are able to differentiate in their generics like they do. Hello All, I am not glad that you are having issues, but if am so glad that you post, because I am having the same issue with my 14 year old son. He was taking the blue and white 15 mg Amphetamine salts ER for Narcolepsy with Cataplexy. This is his very first time on the medication, IT WORKED! Well after the first 30 day prescription, good old CVS decided to take it upon themselves and change it to the orange pill, same miller grams, but the name on the bottle is Dextroamp-amphetamine ER. This dose not work at all. My son is constantly falling asleep, and the Cataplexy has complete control over him, causing him to fall at least four to five times a day. How can I get prescription assistance with generic 30 mg adderall? ## There are no assistance programs for generic medications, since by their very nature they are already much cheaper than their name brand counterparts. Additionally, since there is a generic available, there isn't even an assistance program available for the name brand Adderall. The best suggestion I can really make is to price shop the pharmacies in your area to see who has it available for the cheapest price. Another alternative would be to look into some of the free pharmacy discount cards and programs, using one of them if you have a local pharmacy that participates may save you a little money. A friend of mine went to Walgreens this month and got Mallinckrodt generic 30mg XR's. The imprint is M 8956. They look like that garbage CVS generic with a clear bottom. I have to fill my script tomorrow and I plan on asking what they have before I fill it. I recently got R3060 blue caps. They have like an orange bead color, but I keep hearing it's supposed to be white powder or just white. I need to know what color/colors the beads themselves come in.
