I agree with you all in the difference between the peach oval generic pills vs. the orange round generic pills. The oval ones - I stay focused throughout the day at my job with almost no side effects. Recently, my normal pharmacy who I have picked my prescriptions up from for the 7 years switched to the round orange ones. Assuming they were the "same", I took them. The first day I already could notice a HUGE difference! My biggest complaint was the headaches! Not to mention very irritable, fatigue, weakness. Most of the post I'm reading are blasting the teva generic. I have tried core pharma's 30mg round pink tablets, and yes the ingredients are different between the two manufacturers, teva and core pharma. I've taken ADD medicine for six years and can tell you they are different. If it's hard for you to get up and get your day started try core pharma. If your up and in a slump and it's around 4pm take teva and you'll notice exactly what your supposed to notice. Teva is pure relaxation and focus where core pharma is harsh and cortisol inducing. Very hard to sleep on core pharma. Try taking half the tablet and be sure to eat good quality carbs with your ADD medicine. The body can't motivate without ample glucose. Does anyone know the color of the beads that are instant release in the Shire 30 mg. I am trying to find this out because the long acting beads stay active to long preventing sleep and the Shire Brand is the only decent Adderall. I believe the two colors are white and a orange lookin beige. Which is the better generic company? I just got GLOBAL and they are like taking sleeping pills. I'm sleeping 20 to 24 hours a day for days. If I didn't need to pee, I might never wake up. I have been on adderall 8 years. I'm 29 2 kids. My dosage is at 60 mg. 30mg ir 2 x daily I actually took 1.5 months off it and learned just how unmanageable my adhd / add is with out it. I tried starters and Wellbutrin during that time both which had neg side effects and just got back on adderall 10/30. Corpharma 30 pink tabs are what I got. I have been EXHAUSTED lethargic headaches sad .... Weird crap. I tried taking more just to see if it was weak (up to 200mg) - all it did was made all those symptoms ALOT worse. Is it the brand ? I have a prescription for 20 mg Adderall IR and my generic options are Aurobindo, Teva or Sandoz. Which one of these would you recommend? I've read posts that say Aurobindo is the worst but seems to be the one most pharmacies are pushing (or stock) right now. My script is for 90 pills so I can try 20 mg a day or cut one in half and try 30mg/day to find what works best for me. I'd appreciate any feedback. Kind of confused by your question. Whatever you have taken (total) over a 24 hour period is how much you've taken "a day". Has anyone who takes name brand Adderall XR 30 mg - 2 x/day tried to take a drug holiday and if so, what are your side effects. I live with a questionable character who I have caught red handed taking my meds from me. I am prescribed amphetamine salts 30 mg xr, generic for adderall. They are orange and clear capsules filled with orange beads. The time I caught him I found that he had taken the pill apart and ingested the beads, then put the pill back together so I wouldn't know...really sneaky. I was taking 2 Adderall XR 30 mg. (60 mg total) very morning for years. I called for a refill a few months back and when I picked up the script, it was for Adderall IR. I questioned why the XR wasn't prescribed and the know it all NP told me that Adderall XR was NEVER given in that dosage and I was the first to request it. She said it was illegal to prescribe 2 Adderall XR to be taken in one day. She said that by taking two XR's that I was continually getting the medicine in my system 24 hours.
