I've found that all of the legitimate ones are the same strength, however; since the generics use different inactive ingredients, and possibly different formulations of the active ingredient-alprazolam being a drug that tolerance develops quickly-even the smallest difference in formula can make ones "seem" to work better or "stronger." I usually try to switch pharmacies as much as possible, though in WA state you are only allowed to switch once on a 5 refill script ## Alprazolam and "can make ones "seem" to work better or "stronger."? I want to know if there's benzo in prozac ingredients ## Hi shay, I think you may have mistaken the drug class for an active/inactive ingredient. To answer your question, Prozac (Fluoxetine) is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class; not having any chemical relation to benzodiazepine medication like Xanax. If you'd like to know which inactive ingredients are present in your pill, please post back with a description of the tablet (i.e. shape, color, imprints, etc), and I can look that info up for you. Does anyone know if these red xanax bars are a good generic version? They look taste and feel like the brand name but I don't see anything on the net about them.. can someone please give me some feedback or some kind of info on these? Can anyone tell me if their are doctors online who will rescribe xanax? ## I am sure you could find one, if you looked hard enough, however, since Xanax contains the active ingredient Alprazolam and is a Benzodiazepine, it is a controlled substance in the U.S. and having it prescribed in such a manner would still be considered illegal. In the U.S. it requires a doctor's actual examination/office visit to have these types of substances prescribed.
