Why would my son have a round yellow pill with 853 and a half moon on it? What would it do to him? I need to know the effects of it. ## Actavis Pharma lists this tablet as containing 3mgs of Guanfacine, which is high blood pressure, certain cardiac conditions, and ADHD. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, and insomnia. You can find more information by clicking this NDC code: 00228-2853 Is there anything else I can help with?

Its not oblong like the lortabs are so I know that can't be what it is, so can anyone help me out here.. ## @original poster and post #2, The round yellow pill you're describing marked with 853 on one side and a half moon (Actavis logo) on the other, reportedly contains 3mgs of Guanfacine hydrochloride extended-release. This medication is marketed for its use in treating high blood pressure and ADHD...

My pill for hydrocodone 10/325. Is white, oblong and had 3601*v imprinted on it. Just got it from Walmart. Is this the correct pill? I am used to taking the yellow oblong. ## Yeah I got mine today and to my surprise they were white not yellow but very similar except for the white is V 3609 and the yellow is V 3601. I was dissapointed because I hate the white ones no matter what brand. I hope they don't stopped making the yellow like watson did. Now they serve u watson 853 in white! ## Many people here on MedsChat are saying the same thing about these V 3609 white pills being less effective. I think Post #1 is right about the white ones lacking efficacy all across the board from one manufacturer to the next. I've noticed a growing trend in action - Actavis's generic norco for...
So recently I received a white Watson 853 that looks identical to the yellow ones; size, shape, imprint. Everything checks out except it does not feel as strong as the yellow. I was then told that Watson is not manufacturing yellow ones anymore so I checked the Watson/actavis website. They had no info on white 853. Are these fake? ## Hi Michael, Where a bouts did you get the pill from? If you didn't purchase it from an authorized seller, you could most definitely have a counterfeit. The only other thing I can think of, is that it may just be an old version that is no longer on the market. I believe Actavis pharmaceuticals now owns Watson pharmaceuticals so here is a link to the contact page of Actavis Pharma's website if you'd like to ask them about the pill you have: actavi...
I got a blue pill with Watson 853 and it's supposed to be 10/325 Norco. They seem chalky and taste funny. I'm concerned because my ex-boyfriend picked them up for me against my better judgment. ## Dear Asia, Legitimate Watson 853 is supposed to be either yellow (old version) or white (new version). If it's blue I would get them analyzed by a lab immediately and/or safely dispose of them, because my better judgment tells me they are counterfeit and may contain something else altogether that could potentially be harmful. The original yellow Watson 853 was made by Watson Pharmaceuticals prior to being taken over by Actavis, who reintroduced them as a white version with the same imprint. A lab analysis would at least determine if your ex-boyfriend was trying to poison you. Bette...
I recently got a rx refill of white watsons imprint 853 on them and a few people have told me these are bad quality! They said if they break easily and taste like chalk they are counterfeit!? They made my dad real sick! ## Yes got some in my script a few days ago break easily and doesn't desolve in water ## @Boo, Watson 853 is actually reported to be a legitimate medication made by Watson Pharmaceuticals (now known as Actavis). So as long as your doctor prescribed them I wouldn't necessarily question their legitimacy. The idea about them coming off as being fake is quite common though, ever since Actavis changed the formula from the original yellow version. They say that only the yellow dye was removed, but this clearly isn't the case when countless other patients have repor...
Si puedo redinir msa de esta pastillas y en que fsrmasia la puedo compara ## Hi Victor, Did you by chance mean to say Watson "853" as opposed to "653"? I have not seen any white oblong pills with Watson 653. However, a white oblong pill imprinted with Watson 853 reportedly contains Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone bitartrate (325 mg / 10 mg); used for moderate to severe pain. For verification, it carries a National Drug Code of 00591-0853. Please also note that this pill used to be yellow, until the new manufacturer (Actavis) changed it to white. Please post back if you have any questions, comments or information to add. ______________________________________________________________ Google Translation From English To Spanish: Hola Victor, ¿Has querido por casualidad deci...
