Prilosec contains the active ingredient Omeprazole, which is a proton pump inhibitor, so it works much differently than other antacids. It works by shutting down some of the proton pumps in the stomach, so you produce less acid. I have a prescription dated 3/02/2010. Are they still good to take? ## Is Fexofenadine Pse 60, 120 mg gluten free? The numbers on the pills are 93 T13. ## Blew, tablets are generally good for one year from the date they were dispensed by your pharmacy, so the expiration date should have been 03/01/2011, after which they start to lose efficacy. It is probably best to see your doctor for a new prescription.
