2 Topics FoundHas anyone else taken Wellbutrin XL, and if so, how would you describe your experience? ## I am trying to figure out how to get off of the Wellbutrin xl 15o mg. i take 1 per day in the morning. It is making me throw up. I am going to start splitting it in half for a week. Then I am going to stop it all together the next week. ## I am not an expert by any means, but if XL stands for "extended release" you are not supposed to cut the pills because it changes the way the drug is released.... like you get it much faster.... ## That is correct, you should not cut, break, or crush a time released tablet, such as this, since it could cause you to get too much of the medication, at once, which may result in overdose, according to FDA warnings. I had a huge problem with a generic before (TEVA) and have been paying a larger co-pay for brand.....I was wondering if anyone had any info on the Zydus version. Thank You ## I have been taking Zydus bupropion xl for about two weeks. I don't think it is as effective, and I feel 'zaps'--not sure how to explain that, sortof like twitches.
