I found myself been really really tired & also I'm getting some intense stomach pains, often waking me up from those deep sleeps! <- probably due to the fact I'm not eating enough ontop of them...but they are working!

Rash appeared on neck and head on day 4 of taking calvepen. Took antihistamine and rash went. Now today on day 6 has re-occurred. 1 day left on antibiotic, should they be stopped? ## Hello, Eric! I Have Being Taken Calvepon For Nearly 3 days now because for infected throat due to smoking happened me twice in over a month was on augmention for a week the first time found them hard on stomach.. my third day on the tablets i experienced headackes alot is this a side effect of the tablet or could it be the infection??? how long does it take for calvepen to work?? I was prescribed Calvepen 666 to be taken once daily because I had my spleen removed as a child. I am battling with Osteomyelitis from car crash injuries and am prone to serious infections. From the outset, Calvepen has been positive for me and I believe that it acts as a bacteria repellent protecting me and saving me from a lot of grief and hospital stays with heavier drug infusions to kill off the infections. hi had tosilular abcess for 3 weeks,admitted to hospital and had calvepen 666 through i.v. Abcess was lanced and i was released home with calvepen tablets,not long after taking second dose(3 daily) i started to feel weak/nausious/headache and symtoms of palpatations. Information I've gathered states the following: "Adjust dosing interval: Certain penicillins may exhibit reduced gastrointestinal absorption in the presence of food. The therapeutic effect of the antimicrobial may be reduced. The interacting penicillin should be administered one hour before or two hours after meals. In a , another poster stated "CALVEPEN NORMALLY HAS 104 ON BOTTOM BUT CHEMIST GAVE ONES WITH 105 ON AND ARE BIGGER ARE THEY THE WRONG TABS??" With some reasoning, we could perhaps assume that the tablets with 104 inscribed on them are the 333 mg dose, whereas the tablets with 105 are the 666 mg dose (because the poster stated that the 105 tablets are larger in size).
