5 325 Tb
31 Topics FoundI take generic Norco: hydrocodone -acetaminophen 10-325 TB. Which works fine. However for a month, I took hydrocodone -acetaminophen-325 (no TB mentioned anyhere). Miserable. Did not work as well and was in tears. Are these the same generic ingredients in both meds? Or should I insist on "TB" since the generic norco refers to hydrocodone -acetaminophen 10-325 TB. ## Hello, Mickie! How are you? Sorry that you were in pain. But the TB just stands for tablet, that's all that it specifies, so there was nothing different between the two. Without knowing the markings on the tablets or the manufacturers, I have no way of knowing if you were ever taking a different generic, or if it's always been the same one. Can you check with your pharmacy and post back? Thanks! ## Is availab...
I have lower back pain and hip pain. I would like to order the hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325 TB ## Hello, CupCake! How are you? This website does not manufacture, prescribe, nor sell any medications or products, it is an information only resource. In the U.S. this medication is a controlled substance, which requires a doctor's prescription and regular monitoring for use. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you have a doctor you see regularly that may be able to help you?
I recently was on 7.5 325 T and doc just switched me to 5-325-TB. What is the difference between the two? As in what amount of aspirin/Tylenol, does the amount in prescription strength, above mean? Like 7.5 to the 5, & the amount that didn't change 325? I have severe lower back pain, after standing or walking for several hours, as well as after strenuous work around the house, bending stooping, etc., & an MRI showed spinal stenosis. As well as the knee pain, I've had for years! So switching down in meds, as the doc prescribed, may not work. That's why I was wanting to know what the difference in the two meds are? THANKYOU for your time in reading & answering my questions. Diane ## Hello, Drenka! How are you? The first contained 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone with 325mgs o...
I recently went to the dentist because I've been having severe tooth pain causing a pain to shoot up from my tooth to my head. The dentist said I had an infection due to my wisdom teeth being taken out and it caused the tooth to move and caused bacteria to go in. My question is, he prescribed me the Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-325 TB to be taken every 6 hours for pain along with Amoxicillin for the infection. Can I take 2 doses of the Hydrocodone because one is not cutting it? ## Hello, Kammy! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. But no, you shouldn't take more of it than has been prescribed for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and, if you aren't tolerant to it, you could overdose. Additionally, you have to be very...
I am reading a lot of complaints about this drug. I was taking Watson 3202 5-325 for pain and it worked for my pain. Now Actavis makes 2172 in place of Watson 3202. I don't see any difference. ## Some people may be more sensitive to different inactive ingredients than others. Their bodies may also process/metabolize these ingredients at a different rate, affecting absorption. However, the amount of active ingredients in generic drugs is rumored to fluctuate by up to 20% more or less. I don't know if this varies from batch to batch, but I'm glad to hear that someone else is having a good experience with the 2172 pill, as it goes to show that everyone really does react differently, despite the nay sayers calling it a placebo by comparison to Watson's older products. Please...
On 4/12/17, I received my monthly script of Oxycodone from Walgreens, from Mfg. Actavis as Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 10-325MG TB. The medication did not dull my pain as usual, but continued to use and began to feel very ill, vomiting and having diarrhea, ending up in the hospital for four days, during which I lost all my strength and needed Physical Therapy for three months and I am still having to use a walker. There was never a diagnosis of the cause of my hospitalization, but now I know that after I had not used the medication for a period of three months and now needed pain relief again, that after ll days of use, I was experiencing the same thing that had put me in the hospital in the first place, the Actavis Oxycodone! There is a problem with Actavis and they should be investigated....
I have been taking hydrocodone/ Acetaminophen 5-325 TB FOR YEARS FOR CHRONIC PAIN. When I just picked up my most recent prescription the pharmacy substituted Hydrocodone/ Acetaminophen 5-300 TB. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE TWO MEDICATIONS? Are there different side effects, and how might they manage my pain differently? ## From what you've listed, the only difference is the dosage of Acetaminophen that each contains, one contains 325mgs and the the other contains 300mgs of it. How is it working for you? What are the markings on the tablets? The FDA warns the Hydrocodone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
How many can you take if the doctor recommended 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed? Can you take more if pain is still extreme after 3 hours? ## Hi Grammy, There are a number of reasons why I wouldn't advise taking anything more than what is recommended by your doctor. However, if you feel that what you were prescribed just isn't strong enough, a higher dosage may be something to discuss at your next appointment. While I do know patients who have taken more than this without experiencing repercussions, it's important to understand that everyone responds differently based on their tolerance as well as other individual factors. And due to the high risk of liver damage, it also doesn't seem like a good idea to take more than 325mg of Acetaminophen in one sitting on a reg...
I take paroxetine 20mg each morning. Had foot surgery 2 days ago and was prescribed hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 Tb. Is it ok to take these two medications together? ## Hello, Monanas63! How are you? There is a chance that the Paroxetine may potentiate the Hydrocodone, which could make it too potent for some people, thus you should only take them together, if your doctor approves. The FDA classified this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Paroxetine is an SSRI antidepressant and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?
In May I sustained a shattered tibia and broken fibula, 4 broken ribs, 2 stomach surgeries, dislocated elbow, missive rotator disruption, 5 facial fractures, and a TBI. I have actively been on Percocet 5mg for the last couple months. This month my prescription was reduced to one tablet twice daily. During a 3 week time span, I overtook my prescription by 5 pills running short three days. Today I received a hardware removal surgery in my right foot and I am left with norco 5 mg tablets now. This medication has already proven to be ineffective. Did I loose the trust of my doctor? If so, how do I get it back? This was the first time that this has happened and I am in serious pain. ## Hello, Eric! How are you doing? I'm sorry about what you've been through, that's terrible, and ...
Help me Dr gave me Hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325TB. My Esophgrus is burning so bad, I now have runny nose and a cough. He gave it to me for leg and back pain. I should say that I also take Nexium fore acid reflex ## Hello, Lee! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. How much water did you take it with? This frequently occurs if someone takes a pill with just a small sip of liquid, or swallows it dry. With the runny nose and cough being added to the mix, that leads me to suspect that it might have your GERD acting up. If you did take it with a full, 8 ounce glass of water, then you need to consult your doctor, because this just might not be the right medication for you to take, since something else may be causing the problem. ## You should be te...
What is Hydrocodone Acetaminophen 5 / 325 TB used for? I was on the 7.5-325 T before for a hip surgery I had (for the pain). What is the difference? ## Hello, Patty! How are you? The dosage is lower, this one contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. If you're asking about the T and TB, there is no difference, they are both just abbreviations for tablet. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Can I take Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-325 TB before a colonoscopy? I am told to not take NSAIDs two weeks before my test. It appears there is no aspirin in this RX. ## You are correct, the active ingredients are Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Hydrocodone. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes, what else can i take for arthritic knees for pain that eont affect yhe colonoscopy test
why does taking my hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 TB before I go to sleep at night make me have less pain during the day? ## Apparently, it works very well for you, there's really no other explanation that can be given for this. Medications sometimes work better for some people than for others and it's usually matter of trial and error to find which one works best for you, without causing unwanted side effects. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it may carry the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have ALLERGY to codeine all I want to know is Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-325 TB have codeine in this yes or no plkeasae ## Hello, Shirley! How are you? No, the active ingredients are exactly what you listed, Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen. According to the FDA, this is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There is a slight chance that you could also have an allergic reaction to another narcotic, but there's no way to know other than trying it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes hydrocodone has codeine in it, if you're allergic to codeine I would refrain from using this opiate ## shirley schaschl, it is always best to discuss drug allergies wi...
my hydrocodone has Watson 3202 on white oval pill but pharmacy label has a T following the 325. What does the T mean? ## I am not aware of any abbreviation that this would stand for and suspect it may be a typographical error, or something internal to your pharmacy. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## at the end of a hydrocodone/acetaminophen script there is a tb and a t what doe they mean ## A "T" or "TB" on the end of the drug name on a label simply stands for "Tablet". This is universal and could apply to any medication that comes in tablet form. I know this thread is old, just clearing ...
Oxycodone Acetamnophen 10 325MG TB What is the time limited for the drug store to fill this prescription. ## Hello, Ann! How are you? Generally, it's a fairly short one, since it is a narcotic, but I'm not sure of the precise time limit. Have you asked your pharmacist? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone else know? ## Oxycodone in a regular formula lasts around 4 hours. (Percocet say....) ## It all depends on how often and how many a day you can take...times however long or 30 days for a months supply is or adds up to.. ## Is suboxone 8 mg stronger than oxycodone 20 mg ? Take 2 suboxone tabs daily vs. 4 oxycodone daily for chronic pain....
I suffered a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury about 2 years ago. I continue to have severe headaches. Every single day. A permanent headache My neuro says that with my kind of injury this is not uncommon. This is not a "migraine". Closest to a "cluster headache". Without medication, it just keeps getting worse - feels like a brain freeze. Anyway,. I have been taking 10/325 Norco for a little over a year now. I started at 2 per day, that worked pretty good, then I started having to take 3 per day to be somewhat pain free. Now, that doesn't do it most days. I guess I'm building a tolerance. I don't want to take 4 per day. Where does this lead? How long before that doesn't work? Does anyone have or know of someone who has this or a similar issue? What worked? A...
Fioricet 50/325/40 TB. Can a person take 4 or 5 at once? What will happen?? ## It contains acetaphetamine which is toxic to your liver in high doses. Also caffeine which can be detrimental in high doses. 4 or 5 is a very bad idea. 2 is the maximum amount one should take for a headache.
I was given percocet labeled 5-325 TABMCK by my Dr and now he gave me 7.5-325 TBWAT. I know what the numbers are, but can anyone tell me what the letters stand for? thanks ## those numbers on the pill are the makers there are many different ones ## The letters stand for the form of the medication and the manufacturer. The first one you had was a TABlet made by MerCK pharmaceuticals. The new ones is a TaBlet made by WATson pharmaceuticals, so nothing complicated. Is there anything else I can help you with?
