I have CHRONIC back pain(was hit be a truck 8 yrs ago. Are their any of old OC's being distributed, that's long acting OC's. I was taking 80 mg of OC for 8 years they were great. Three months ago was put on the OD's 80mg they sucked. Now I tried 2 x 60 mg of long acting morphine, they gives me a drugged out feeling, can't stand them either. Will their be any old type OC's available soon. I'm finding it very difficult to find a doctor who is willing to prescribe 30mg oxymoron even though it works better for me than anything else and I've been taking it since July 2000. No doctor will prescribe this medication lightly; it's highly addictive and subject to stringent controls under Federal Law. I would suggest going back to the doctor you got your original Rx from, since you've been allegedly on it for 10 years. Medicare Part D insurance will cover it - provided, of course, that you're not getting it on the street.

Is there a chart or bell curve to show how fast, and how long 30mg Oxycontin pain pills provide relief ? There must be some way to determine how much pain relief I should be getting from this one pain pill lasting 12 hours, and when. ive noticed that my local pharmacies have been changing their 30mg oxycodones from the little blue pills with the M imprint on them to ones that have an A or a a V on them. which dont seem to work as well or are less effective. how would i go about finding a pharmacy locally that does carry the M's? ## The only thing you can do is ask at the pharmacies. This new 224 pill is awful!! I get 180 a mon for severe migraines and its bad enuff I get nauseaus due to the pain.
