10mg Percocet No Tylenol

I've been taking 10mg Percocet for about 10 years. My doc has just prescribed the oxy part of it without Tylenol for the first time but it gives me severe headaches. Why is that and will the headaches go away? Do I need to go back to with Tylenol. Also my doc has suggested using methadone instead of the oxycodone. The long jumble of words is very hard to decipher. Now, that said, first of all, there are no Percocet tablets on the market that contain 20mgs of Oxycodone, the maximum available is 10mgs. As to detoxing, if you have experienced seizures before, you should probably look into a safe alternative, such as treatment with Suboxone. It contains Buprenoprhine and Naloxone. It is given when you are in the early withdrawal stages and is slowly tapered, to prevent the worst of the withdrawal effects and help you stay drug free. Can someone please tell me if one of the 5mg oxycodones without Tylenol is equal to a percocet 10mg? Is it stronger or weaker and would it only take one to equal the equivalent of a perk 10 or 2 of the oxycodone 5mg ## Hi Julie, To answer your question, 5mgs of Oxycodone quite simply does NOT equate to 10mgs of Oxycodone + 325mgs of Tylenol found in Percocet. Usually when people abbreviate the term "perk 10" this means that it contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and nothing less. Is oxycontin and Percocet the same thing except without the tylenol ## Yeah. It's usually extended release instead of the percocet, which is immediate release. Round yellowish/gold pill with a M in a square around it on 1 side, and 505 on the other (I think). What is this? Running out of the 5mg oxycodone the Dr. prescribed me 15mg every 3 hours. Now I do have 10/325mg percocet for my damaged back and the 15mg oxycodone was for my urinary tract relocation surgery which I had less than a week ago. Please help me. I suffer pain all the time from my Fibromyalgia to my disc and back problems. I previously was on percocet 10mg one 4 times a day..it was no longer working but due to new state and federal regulations my Dr wouldn't give anything stronger and informed me as of 9/1/2016 would no longer treat pain except with Tylenol #3 or Tylenol #4. I've noticed the 10mg k56 and the 15mg a214 effect me differently at the same dose (1.5 ks or 1 a) I know generics are supposed to be equivalent but we all know that's just not what's been happening (mallinkrodt generic Norco Percocet and oxycodone all are not better than Tylenol and their dilaudid is not the same as other brands either. I just got out of Dover Behavior health for a nervous meltdown I was prescribed Paxil & xanax what scares me is the other medications I'm on which are percocet 10mg no Tylenol & oxycontin 40mg. Percocet contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and it is only available with a maximum of 10mgs Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. As to the tablet in question, it is an over the counter product that contains 325 mg of Acetaminophen (NDC 57344-001 among others).
